Re: PS3 Death?

Well, give it 6 months and the PS3 will have all the games that the PS3 has THAT are worth playing... Don't forget, a lot of the 360 games are really poor..

The PS3 will retain some exclusives and Metal Gear Solid may still be one of them.

It will come down then to if you prefer Gears of War or games like Resistance which is bound to have a sequel.

On top of the decision to buy you have to take into account other important factors..

The PS3 has a built in Blu-Ray player. The 360 HD-DVD add-on is a further $200. Also, only the PS3 is capable of 1080P which MIGHT be THE standard in 18 months...
The PS3 has a browser built in and also once people start mucking around with that Playstation Home then it it all looks very positive for the PS3.

The online store and online interface WILL be as good if not better than the 360s eventually though I confess it is not as good at the moment.

On the basis that both console prices will drop to an extent the real answre is to get both....

Eithe way, both of them make bargain next-gen movie players so you can have one for each format and you win either way....
