Remembering Boondoggie Tournament
Here's an idea I came up with, and if we get enough support we can make it work. I was thinking we could have a 1v1 Call of Duty 4 Tournament to raise money for Boon's family who need it at this point in their lives. Im sure everyone has heard by now that our dear friend Boondoggie has cancer and only has a week or two to live. The least we can do is send a little money in the site's name to the family to help them out a little bit. Boon has 3 young boys that he will be leaving and they all are under the age of 5. Everyone should participate in this, even if you didn't know Boon still take part in this tournament.
The way we can set it up is everyone needs a PayPal account if you don't already have one. This is a very safe way to transfer money over, and you don't have to worry about using a credit card or any of that. I was thinking about $10 a person and all the money is going directly to Boon's family. The winner of the tournament can recieve a Trophy that is displayed on your account and also the winner will recieve MP points that will be later used in the PS3 Store. I know the US & UK can't play eachother now, but if they end up connecting us before the tournament starts then we will only need one instead of one US and one UK.
This can only happen if you guys want to do this, I really want to help out Boon's family as much as possible and this seems like the most logical way to do it. Come on, its 10 bucks. Skip the trips to the candy store this week, save up a little money and help out a great guy. If you have ANY questions about anything just send me a PM and I will be glad to help you out. If you feel like you want to donate more, your not limited to $10. I myself will probably donate more so that option is open as well. I put up a poll so if we get enough support, we can make this happen. Let's make sure Boon's last days are happy ones, and let's make this tournament a success!
