All I could ever ask for is civil behaviour.
If they could promise it and maintain it they'd be welcome back. I havent deleted their actual acounts.
The problem is they just can't help themselves. What happens is they destroy a previously normal thread and a few of their chums wade in with these 'owned' comments which makes them feel good so they keep doing it.
If others didn't keep adding to it the problem would not be so noticeable. For the dozen groupies who come on here just to wind people up there are many times that who are completely pissed off with it. You can't read a thread without these people planting their crap on it.
IF this only stayed in the unwind area then it would have been more tolerable.
Unfortunately, there were some in the general areas like the Lounge Area and games sections, like COD4.
I did think about having a separate section below the Unwind Area called something like 'Killing Room'. There would be a pop-up warning that it is an uncontrolled area and new members should be aware of bad language and abusive behaviour.
I think so long as their is a warning then I cant really have a problem with people doing what they want in there.
That would have been the best compromise. I would have made that room for exactly this sort of 'letting off steam' in return for everybody else promising to keep all the 'funny talk' in there and keep the abusive stuff out of all the other areas.
Hell, we could even have a weekly 'Ownage Competition' !
Its actually not a bad idea if I say so myself..
Al I ever wanted was the shit to stop in the other areas.
