Joe Y: Helio relies on outside credit bureaus to determine the credit score of each applicant. Based on the credit score returned by these outside credit bureaus, Helio may require you to pay a credit fee.
Joe Y: They run from $0.00 to $350.00. If you do not have credit then the fee is $200.00.
Joe Y: You can have a pre-sale credit check ran by contacting our member services at 1-888-88-HELIO.
Jordan Palmer: what is the age of this credit fee runs by.....or is this for everyone of all ages
Joe Y: No, you have to be 18, just like every other cellular service.
Jordan Palmer: ok.... i was wondering what the MSRP stands...is that returning customers??
Joe Y: No, it is the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. The full price of the device.
Joe Y: The New Member Price of for brand new members.
Jordan Palmer: ok so thats if you want to do pay as you go.....

Joe Y: This is the price of the device. It has nothing to do with the cost of our plans.
Jordan Palmer: what is the point of that then....no one really wants to know that unless your able to do pay as you go

Joe Y: First of all, you only have to pay the new member price if you are a brand new member. If you wish to upgrade outside the first thirty days of activation or before your first year is up, then you would have to pay the MSRP. The MSRP also applies if you break your device and do not have the insurance. You would then have to pay full retail price.
Joe Y: Second, the two-year contract refers to the membership plan. You have to pay for the plan for two years on a monthly basis. It has nothing to do with how long you keep your device.
Joe Y: If you wish to cancel you contract within the first two years, then you would be responsible for an early termination fee of $175.00.
Jordan Palmer: so your saying you dont really have to worry about the MSRP unless you break it or want to upgrade....
