I just got a Plantronics 640 BT Headset and it worked straight after pairing it. However I've heard some issues where some headsets needs to be re-paired each time you start up the console but I've never experienced any issues.
All round an excellent headset that is super lightweight with great sound quality.
Most players with comms are usually chatting among themselves in a squad. This allows you to talk to anyone in the squad without the need to press the L3 button. Just go to Menu>Change Squad and choose the squad where others are in to start chatting away. By selecting a squad you would also be able to spawn near the team each time you die.
