No secret you just have to try and guess the pitch and location... and if you don't guess either one well then that eliminates some possibilities...also you don't just use X to swing you also use the left stick with X or [] the left stick is for locating the pitch ... like if you see the ball coming high and inside then you move the left stick up and to the left. Also with the right stick you can influence how you want to hit either hit up for fly ball or down for ground ball...doesn't always mean this will happen but it helps.... Thats about all I know...I am 14-7 and 4 loses are from traffic delays so I should be like 14-3 or something.
