Conquest Mode coming

EA and DICE announced that the online capture the flag game mode will be released Thursday August 7th and is free of charge. Link found here

For those of you who haven't had the chance to play previous Battlefield games; here is an explanation on what Conquest is:
Conquest Mode is a type of capture the flag game where instead of picking up the flag and bringing it back to your base, users will have to make their way to one of five capture points and raise their flag to turn the tides of battle. The more flags your side owns, the quicker your opponents' supply of reinforcements dwindles. As soon as their supply runs out, the round is over.

The four maps to use this mode are Harvest Day, Oasis, End of the Line, and Ascension.

no, but man there should be......like bf2 had it and everything....ingame clans and leadersboard...it was cool....but lots would cheat....i can really understand like only having 4peep to a party just so no rankup and oversiding of teams..but it sux if you have like 5 of you together and only 4 to a party...kinda gay

I know, I bought this game thinking that there would be two modes from the start and when I played it I was annoyed to see that there was only Gold Rush.

Conquest mode will definitely get me back in the Bad Company. Maybe even convince me to buy a new mic if they fix the bugs.

Gold Rush was fun an all but got boring after a while and Conquest was tons of fun in Modern Combat so this should be good.

man, i have a server on ventrilo with a bunch of people, and we just chat threw that way......since the mics kick out....its alot better....

I want more ranks too, 25 ranks, thats a bit gay. I just cant wait cuz i started playing cod4 and got very mad, i mean very mad at noobs, as you can see in my post aboute the M4, lol, that was dumb of me, but anyway you really cant be a noob in that game witch is great.

mp 25 ranks is good....the only problem is they made it to short...it should be from 0-200,000points.....that would make people play longer....
