It is setup kinda weird the bottom customer is my 1st post then move up to his response then move up to my 2nd question and finally up to thier 2nd response

Hi,

The authentication server for the game appears to be down. This can be the result of a scheduled downtime, or a temporary problem with the server. In either case, the only resolution is to remain patient while the server returns to operation. Please try playing again at a later time.

Note: We are unable to provide any ETA for when the server might return, nor can we speculate on the exact motivations behind any scheduled downtimes. Customer03/24/2007 09:30 PM The general lobby it is happening to all 40 people on my friends list that have tried also...once in cod3 main screen I select multiplayer it shows the connecting to network screen for about 3 min and then says sumthing like unable to verify authentication

Thank you for contacting Activision’s Technical Support. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with one of our games. Are you not able to connect to the lobby or not able to connect to games? Games are hosted by other players, there are no large servers like the PC Call of Duty games. The lobby though, is not run at Activision so I'm looking into the status. Hopefully if it is down, it will be restarted soon. Communication over the weekend is always a bit slower.

Customer03/24/2007 06:35 AM The server for cod3 ps3 went down early this morning i would day maybe 3:00 is Central time and remains down any guess on when it will be back up? and what we can expect when it does come back online? can i getta mic support?!!!

Ummm, I dont think its a good idea.
It will take a LOT of extra bandwidth and their servers are already crap..

Yeah i hope this is to better the game, maybe add more locations to kill, better game modes, and maybe mics to it. Seems to good to be true, but i'm crossing my fingers.
