Game Sessions No Longer Available...

Has anyone been getting a lot of these messages lately or is it just me. I was just playing and received about five from playing for about an hour. If it is me then the update 1.54 was only half of the reason that was causing me problems before. I will be really ****ing pissed if this crap still isn't working properly.

I have cable, using a wireless router, I was just wondering if anyone else was running into these. Because before the 1.60 update I was having problems like this (receiving "Game Session... every five minutes) and thought the problem was my main cable splitter, was going to call out my cable guy (never did) to fix it, instead I waited for 1.60 update and after the download it SEEMED like everything was back to normal. Today was the first day that I started to get a lot of these messages AGAIN!

I know people get the "Game Session No Longer Available" but not as much as I did. I just hope this doesn't turn out like it was two weeks ago.

depnds on the room.. also it happens to me when i join a room thats been up for a while....and your wireless connections can loose the signal for a split second and do that.

I Always get Those And "Could Not Connect To All Players"

I Forgot TO Say I Heard Someone That Put it Outside In A Plastic Bag WHEN IT WAS SNOWING and Left it there for a day
when they came to pick it up they plugged it in and it worked better.....
It Made Me Think If i SHould GO SOme Where Where it SNows And Do That.....

I have gone on COD3 online before and spent probably 20 minutes just trying to get into a bloody game... Very frustrating.

It is a factor of your local signal strength and the drain on the COD3 servers. Other days I can get in straight away.

On average though, i would say it takes me 3 to 4 attempts to get into a game and getting in to a 22/24 people game is practically impossible.

The only way to improve this is firstly to have your PS3 as near to the router as possible to maximise the signal strenght (or use an ethernet cable) and for Activision to split their servers so that we have to choose which server to join before being pressented with the rooms.

DAT WUZ ME!!!!!!!!! walmart bag:} i live in wisconsin so yeah it wuz very cold my damned machine keeeeeept freezin up and wuz mega hot so i figured i got a warentee why the **** not!! BUT N E WAYZ ur problem is normal it happens,what it is.........When a game is lagged out the server searches for the lager and drops the player{s}(game session no longer available) the server seems to grab the lagger or laggers and also just a couple random guys(gotta luv that), if you don't have the correct ports forwarded to your ps3 it could cause u to lag or also like rakoon said the wireless thing(see if a ethernet cable brings u diff results)....either way if you are the person causing the lag you will be booted EVEN IF YOU AREN'T you will sometimes get tossed cuz the server gods don't like you i make them offerings(couple hundred dead soldiers) they love me so i never get kicked

My playstation is about three feet away from the wireless router, and I do use an Ethernet cord to connect to the internet. You said something about ports, how do I do this? Like make the IP the same as my computer?

i really don't remember but i know u can find it on this site just search forums for PORT FORWARDING this will tell u how to set ur router to not resrict anything going to/from your ps3
