Hey!!

Im new to this forum! Im looking forward to joining all these competitions when i get my PS3 ^_^

If I use my PS3 network ID online....how do i join a clan?? Is there an option to join a clan or do you have to change your Network ID?

Call of Duty 3 is certainly a very good game. Dont let it realatively low scores on the main review websites fool you! They only marked it down for some programming flaws which wont affect your wnjoyment now everybody knows what they are and how to minimalise their affect.

When you get your PS3 you will need to create a User Account.
You will then go through a process which includes choosing a Network ID, this is the ID that you see people online with. It can be the same as your PS3 console user ID of you wish.

A lot of people seem to go with some fancy stuff like:

HaLfBrAiN-MaNiAc2004

I'd suggest keeping it simple and short.
3 - 6 letters is good as it is easier for people to remember you which is critical if they meet you in game and wish to invite you into their clan.

Talking of clans. When you join a clan you will need to have ANOTHER Network ID for when playing as that clan member.

You dont have to touch your orginal account, you just create another user account on your console and then choose your Clan Network ID.
All Clans appear to have a tag as a prefix or suffix so it will probably look something like:

KiLlErs_yourname or TNT_yourname

What you choose as your name after the TAG is up to you.

Check our the clans in the Clan forums at the bottom of the forum home page and ask for a tryout with the one that you fancy.

..but... get some practice first. You will have to be decent!

It's VERY NICE TO SEE someone besides the couple of us regulars taking the time to put up a GREAT response post to help a fellow gamer keep it up man!!!!!! you just saved me sum time and i really don't think i coulda said it any better myself(maybe i coulda added sum spellin misteaks,i good at that :)!!!)
