What Made CoD3 So Special

Why was it such a good game

For me

1.There was no Global making it a smaller groups of players E.G (If i joined say a CTF Eder there would always be some1 i no ...on cod4 i never see the same person 2 times if i join random games

2.No Advantages....on Cod4 u can get perks which give u Advantages say juggergay makes u take more bullets ....WHATS THE SKILL IN THAT....

3.More Skill ...Cod3 takes more skill hands down its harder to aim and kill people This sorta Relates back to number 2

3.Clan matches- The CB where so much fun u would play them and after the match there would be so much to talk about on CoD4 u play the match it isnt even fun and there nothing to talk about

4.Less arguements...u may not see this but theres For sure More Arguements on COD4 Then Back in COD3

5.Better maps and ....CTF!!!!!!!!!!......CoD4 maps Suck....none of them can even get close to Eder Damm....WTF no CTF the best game mode Ever

6.CoD3 is Fun . The only Reason most people play COD4 is to improve there stats,Rankings,Rank On cod3 the only thing u culd play for was fun there was no Rankings

7.Another thing is That people That where shit at cod3 are good at cod4 i mean any1 can be good at cod4 its to easy

The gameplay was awesome as well. Every game was different, well most of them anyway.
And good old Eder Dam (which is the background on my PS3 lol).

yh i remember the support gun was difficult to use, the BAR is just as easy 2 use as a cod4 assualt rifle

The game had 0 single player, the multiplayer was easy, too many people glitched. No Kick option, and you had no idea what room your buddies were in.

COD 3 on the PS3 was more than half assed... actually COD 3 in general was half assed.

It was special (retarded) in the fact that there were NO mics, NO kick option, and it was the biggest campfest known to man.

If you want to get a real game, go buy COD 2 Big Red One.

I did like that it wasn't global. Nobody knows each other on CoD4. You never play with the same guys. I agree that perks are lame and CoD4 is much easier in general. Sniping is stupid on 4. The fact that you can't pick what room you want to play in makes no sense to me. You have no choice as to which map you want to play and that's getting pretty old. From what I hear, on the 360, they ran off a huge petition to reopen the CoD3 ladder (on GB I believe) and they got enough people and they got it done. Clearly, lots of people feel the same way, regardless of the system. CoD2:BRO > CoD3 > CoD4 [We're moving in the wrong direction]
