Ugh. I'm tired of seeing WWII related games. There were plenty of other great wars back then! I'd like a see a very good realistic war game based on something else. Or at least from different perspectives! I'd even enjoy playing a game where you play a Jew that had to escape from a Nazi prison camp.. Or an American POW (like the movie "Stalag 17")!
theres a game in development called SABOTEUR VIVA LA RESISTANCE its WW2 but u play a citizen in france or sumthin and join the resistance. its definetly a new and interesting prespective definetly worth checking out. honestly wat is wrong with activision? call of duty 2 was HUGE but for some stupid reason the had treyarch make cod3. COD4 was even BIGGER with game of the year written all over it and the one game this year that could stand up to HALO 3. do they not see the pattern of success? now i know that these companys see money b4 anything else so wtf are they thinking? and WW2 again? stupid stupid stupid...

Treyarch and Infinity Ward have a contract. They switch every game.

Actually Call of duty 2 was the funnest game I have ever played, and it is the reason I keep buying them. IMO IW messed up with the maps because it is way too fu cking easy for noobs to camp and with all these perks it is way too easy for any little kid to be good. I will say cod 3 on ps3 blew, but for ps2 it wasn't bad because it actually had mics.

i dont really see the problem i liked both games but i knew cod3 was crap compared 2 cod4 but it wasnt when u 1st played on it every1 though it was amazing i reckon it will b good if the game concepts are the same like mike support, partys and all the usuals. also i would love 2 have online maps like ohama beach landing with huge players on each side immagine that would need 2 b like on ps4 probally lol n call of duty 10 hehe
I played previous Cod's based on older wars and all that jazz, and I liked them, but I can relate more to the Modern setting and for some reason it interests me a lot more.
