Prestige mode again?

I am at lvl 55, and I am staying there. All prestige mode shows off is your log time. Congratulations you have thrown away eight days of your life. If you want to show your skill go for the headshot achievements like me (Only two sniper rifles away from golden dragunov). I am also extremely close to completing all of the skill based and operations achievements.

I'm on the second with rank 42 (I think) and will probably keep going until I either get bored or finish them out. Since there's not achievements for PS3, it's kinda the next best thing and I'm a completionist so I want them done.

It does make it hard since it takes EVERYTHING away. It would better if it left Bootcamp, and Killer, and Humiliation alone and just made you start the weapon challenges again.

First off, i'd rather not do prestige because i find it pointless to go through and get all my guns and attatchments again. I'd rather spend time trying to complete all the challenges rather than re-unlocking things 10 times and getting absolutely nothing for it.

Second off, unless he is on your friends list you cant tell if someone has been 55 for a long time. Like me, i've played a good chunk of time, but if someone sees me they dont think that i've been on for ever cuz im just 55. Whereas a guy in a 4th prestige, makes the impression that they have got 55 3 times making it seem like they have no life...

Not saying that ppl in prestige do, it just looks like that way.

Ya, i did all the non-gun based challenges but airborn and to kill some1 with a flash nade. In 50 headshots with the AK and 125 with the MP44 i will have the golden AK, which to means alot more than a stupid symbol by my name.
