New Kill Cams - Everything that can kill you has a Kill Cam now. Grenades, Airstrikes, Claymores, C4, M203 Rounds, RPGs, anything. So jump online, get owned alittle and check them out. They’re awesome, especially Grenades and M203 shots that go across the map and through a window.
Improved Sniper Accuracy - The Sniper rifle accuracy has been improved. No more, WTF? shots now. Your cross hair will be a better representation of where your shot will ultimately land. Try out a sniper class today, let us know how the new accuracy feels.
Improved ACOG Scope Accuracy - ACOG scopes accuracy on any weapon has been improved. Test it out, throw it on one of your classes and give it a go.
Upgraded Spectator Cam - Now when you’re a spectator you have the option to follow in 3rd person or 1st person. As well as rotate 360 degrees around the player you’re watching. Next time you’re dead in Search and Destroy and just watching your team mates do stuff you know you can do better, now do it in 1st person or rotate around them.
Quick Mute Option - Now you can easily and quickly mute players in-game.
Call of Duty 4 update/patch 1.10 U.S. release date: 12/18/2007
Call of Duty 4 update/patch 1.10 U.K. release date: 2/8/2008
Update/Patch 1.10 includes:
The PS3 (exclusive) Connectivity patch will include:
US Data Center For NAT Server
Will make all US players connect to US data center and EU users connect to EU data center. This will optimize performance for all users in those areas.
Fixed 'Downloading Game Settings' Error
Fixed error with conflicting packet interaction.
Port 3095 Issue Corrected
Players were required to have port 3095 open in order to host. Now players who have port 3095 blocked can still host matches.
Matchmaking Optimization
Server search will end upon acquiring a certain number of good servers. Added "prefer" servers with best ping, this will optimize and expedite players finding and joining good matches.
This is the first patch, addressing connectivity issues, there will be a future patch that includes several more multiplayer enhancements but won't be here until well into the new year. Let me know if there are any questions. Thanks guys.

Hey Everyone --
Just to clarify on my last post, those Playlist changes mentioned apply to PS3 and 360 and should be hitting here soon (in December), but I wanted to make it clear that the patch itself with the other changes (i.e. Host Migration, Kill Cams) that are only for the Xbox 360 will probably hit after December, as that requires going through certification, while the Playlist changes we can change dynamically. I noticed it getting reported as the patch getting released in December, and wanted to stop it before too many hopes got up. (found by Palmer11)
What he is saying is that the Xbox 360 is getting Host Migration, Kill Cams etc. this month and the Ps3 version will be getting some but not all of those same features sometime in 2008.
I know there are a lot of questions of whats happening with the EU (rest of the world) connectivity patch for the PS3 and I wanted to let you know what's happening.
Essentially SCEA (Sony of America) and SCEE (Sony Europe) have two completely separate certification processes, policies, rules, and requirements. Essentially they're going through two separate companies despite them both being Sony. The reason the patch has only come out in the US is because it passed Sony America (SCEA) certification and they allowed it to be released.
The patch that has to go through Sony Europe (SCEE) hasn't gotten approved by Sony Europe yet, and it's looking like will have to be rolled into the feature patch coming to the PS3. So essentially, you all know there we're two patches coming for the PS3, the first being the connectivity patch, and the 2nd being the feature patch (i.e. Kill cams additions and others) same as the Xbox 360 (with a few slight platform specific differences). That is what's happening in the US, but regretfully due to the delay with Sony Europe and the different requirements with certification that will all be one big patch for Europe and the rest of the world instead of two separate ones like in the US.
You will ALL get the same patches / changes eventually, just not as two separate patches like the US. Despite them all being the same patch. Everything we could do has been done, right now it's just a matter of going through the proper channels of certification.
Once the patch is released in every region (probably after Holiday break) then you'll be able to connect with your overseas friends again, the only reason you cannot at this moment is because Patched versions cannot play with unpatched versions.
We've been working to see if it can be pushed through Sony Europe (SCEE) any faster and if it's possible I guarantee you we'll make it happen, but other than that there's nothing we can do. Especially seeing as most people are on Holiday break, but I'm looking at all our options.

I hope they never fix the Sniper Accuracy
I rarely miss the kill even if I have to shoot 4 times, and I'm always hearing other snipers missing at me
I love it

Now for the PS3: The PS3 Connectivity patch will be hitting in the very near future and is separate from the Xbox 360 patch. The PS3 (exclusive) Connectivity patch will include:
US Data Center For NAT Server
Will make all US players connect to US data center and EU users connect to EU data center. This will optimize performance for all users in those areas. (No more international play? What the make love?)
Fixed 'Downloading Game Settings' Error
Fixed error with conflicting packet interaction.
Port 3095 Issue Corrected

In short, the playlist changes for both consoles will be hitting very soon, however the Xbox 360 patch will probably hit after December once it goes through certification. The PS3 connectivity patch will be hitting very soon and is separate from the 360 patch.
Let me know if you guys have any additional questions, the PS3 will be getting another patch in the new year which will contain some of the same additions as the 360 one but not all.
Yes, you heard that right folks. The PS3 version isn't getting all those extra changes the 360 version is. IF clearly doesn't see the PS3 version as important as the 360 version confirmed. Talk about disrespect. We paid the exact same price as the 360 customers, but we don't get the same fixes and changes that make the game better.
