sm_mhq/tu merge

i don't know who's idea it was but at some point it was suggested that sm_mhq merge with tu. at the time it sounded like a good idea... we had alot of good players in sm, but there weren't too many very active players... especially in cod3. it would also give us the chance to play ctf and tb games because most of sm were tb but a few wanted to play ctf matches every once in a while. all in all it sounded like a good idea...

militia brought the idea up with everyone in sm, i believe, in a mass mail... some people were excited for it however some were against it. the people that were against the idea if i am not mistaken were sm_mhqcamaro (camarochevyss) and sm_mhqmoldbizkit (boomyourdead22, aka boom). this is where it all started...

the following is to the best of my recollection why camaro and boom didn't want to merge with tu...

when rs:v came out alot of sm members got the game and played it with vigor (myself included). militia, who had gotten the game himself, did not like rs:v, but as the leader of the clan he understood that cod3 wasn't as fun for some people as it used to be so he asked boom and myself to head the rs:v leaderboard stuff. not too long after that i lost interest in the game (it got old really really fast for me at least) but boom and camaro both loved it... so i went back to cod3 and more often then not ended up in chats with militia... one day i signed on after work and militia tells me that boom and camaro had joined some other clan for rs:v. i can't remember what their tag was, but it doesn't really matter. i asked them for an invite to a game and they sent me one, sure enough they had some shit in front of their names as well as some other guy whom i didn't recognize... i was thinking wtf!? i didn't say anything to them (MISTAKE) just played cool and they didn't say anything about it. i reported back to militia that they did indeed have [isf] in front of their names (haha i remembered!). militia freaked, which is understandable as it was well understood within the clan that clan hoping is not tolerated... so i told him to f them and after some more discussion... he did. he removed them from the leader board and from his list. looking back it was a severe mistake to do this without talking to them first... luckily i kept them on my list and still had the opportunity to talk to them... so i did, i believe i sent them both a message to the regards of 'in or out?' when they got on we got into chat. they informed me that they weren't in another clan but that they just used the isf tag in front of their names because sm_mhq was too long and the guys that they had met up with on rs:v had no clue what the hell sm_mhq stood for so they weren't about to put that in front of their name... however on the gb site they had put sm_mhq in the title or whatever...

too make a long story short there was a misunderstanding... militia and myself overreacted and camaro and boom came back to sm... however they did harbor a grudge (which became apparent later).

the sm_mhq/tu merge didn't work the first time... but the second time (even though boom and camaro still didn't want to do it) it went through. later in a chat with boom, camaro, hardbizkit, malachiman and myself they joined, but there was a condition attached to their joining... militia could not be a leader... for some reason militia didn't care when malichi (tu_snakendagrass) told him, so the merger went through. we all made names... played in a few cbs... it was all good until camaro was made a leader...

boon (tu_snakedoctor) assured me that camaro was only a coordinator but militia didn't like it though... said that it was b s that camaro and boom could make exceptions to him being a leader but that they could be one... militia left tu... i tried to explain to him what boon had told me... at this same time i happened to be moving out of my house and into another one... before i unplugged my ps3 i had been trying to get militia to just come back... he told me that boon was being weird and that he didn't want to come back... i unplugged my ps3 and two days later when i signed on i found that militia had come back to tu and then left went back to sm_mhq...

at this point i decided to just say enough... i left tu, informed militia that i wouldn't go back to sm_mhq, and that i would tryout for 1tf1.

camaro and boom are happy and still with tu. militia sold his ps3 because his insurance money (from the surgery) had run out. and i'm still trying to get into 1tf1. lol. well if i messed anything up or misspelled some stuff... once again i've been drinking... so, go to hel|.

I’m writing this with just giving my viewpoint on what happened, not trying to stir things up again with the people I’ve buried the hatchet with. There’s only one person I’ve got problems with in this whole situation now.


Also I’d like to add that I have been told there’s bad blood between Boondoggie *TU_Snake_Doctor* and myself over the issue of me not having rank when merging to TU but instead put Camaro in charge over me. Reason for that is because Boom and Camaro told him the only way they would join is under one condition, and that’s for me not to have any rank as far as leadership. When Boondoggie and Charmer *I think* invited me into a chat, they also brought in Camaro. They discussed the issue on who was going to lead COD3. And instead of putting me in charge, he put Camaro in charge. After that was said and done I basically walked out and away from TU. Evidently the grudge still wasn’t over from us arguing over the ISF situation. After a week or so, I finally was talked back into rejoining TU by SnakeNDaGrass and Nojin. Camaro and I talked things over and straightened them out. I announced to everyone that I was back, but seemed like Boondoggie really wasn’t glad that I came back. I sent a friend request, it never went through. Sent messages, no response. He also never put me back on the leaderboard. Then after a week of just putting up with the b.s., 5 of my SM guys wasn’t happy due to the fact noone would talk to them or even put them in any clan battles. And remember, the whole deal was for everyone to get playtime with this merge. That promise was broken along with others. So with those 5 players they came to me and wanted to go back and start up SM again and I was more than happy to do so because none of us liked how things ended up. A few days after restarting SM, I had to sell off my ps3 to pay on some bills. Evidently noone got my message about how I had to go but would be back in a few weeks. So they thought I bailed out on the team and some of them tried going back to TU. There’s at least one I know of that’s being crapped on right now by Boondoggie, the same way he treated me when I came back.

None of the fighting or bad blood would’ve happened if Boondoggie would’ve tried squashing the beef between Boom, Camaro, and I before the full merge happened. He’s the one that went and okay’d the conditions and stripped me of my rights to my squad. Instead of hiding behind everything or ignoring it, the problem stayed the same until I told Fatboy that I wanted him to bring Camaro in a chat so this issue could be resolved and squashed because I was tired of the team not being a team. It was more like who was gonna take who’s side. So evidently I was labeled as someone that just wanted to create drama, but it was the actions of Boondoggie that kept the problem going by allowing them to get what they wanted when I didn’t get sh!t.

I honestly would go and do anything for my team, I always sought out the best interests for the team. We couldn’t get many people on to get any clan battles going, or when we did the other team wouldn’t show up. I considered TU to be loyal friends of ours because of the friendship that I shared with 5 other TU members.

There’s still some loose ends that needs to be tied in the end. And when I get a chance to take care of those few things, I’ll respectfully do so no matter what the outcome will be. Apologies needs to be said to at least one key person in the SM crew that I haven’t had a chance to get out. If he accepts it or not is his choice. But at least I’ll man up to my mistakes.

My take:

In the end of July SM merged with TU, I didn't want to at first but later went.
I didn't want Militia being a leader after the Rainbow situation, I didn't feel like getting kicked out of another clan within two weeks. So about a week goes by and Boondoggie says he wanted to make Cicero a CoD3 leader, but since Cicero was moving at the time he gave it to me instead. I only took it because nobody else would.

In the end, I like TU, it's not really anyone's fault in particular that SM died and Militia felt betrayed. We all sorta had a hand in it, but Militia and I have talked things over and while I'll be in TU until my playstation stops working, we're still friends.

if you join another clan in a different game it don't mean a s***. as long as you're not in two or more clans at once in the same game there should be no problem. all clans can't be active in all games because not everybody gets the same games. if the clan comes back together for a new game then there should be no problem

Now since my name is getting dragged through the mud i figure I have a right to POST what really happened with the merger. Nojin pretty much summed it up.

I used to talk to Militia at least once a week. maybe jump in a couple of cod3 games with him and a couple of his guys. RB6 came out and when Militia HAD the game he played a lot of the co-op story mode. I would often be invited into the co-op's with Militia, Camaro, and sometimes Boom or another from SM_MHQ. Not to stir anything up anything, I asked or sent msg (cant remember) to militia asking him if he was taking his clan to RB6. He told me me didn't really like the game. I then talked to him about seeing if his guys that where playing RB6 would like to play with TU just for RB6. Few days later we talk and he says that they want to merge with TU. I said cool, then he tells me its for good. I was kinda shocked, but welcomed the idea anyway. I told the news to TU and they where very excited. Some of the guys even started making TU tags and everything. Then like a day or 2 later i was informed that because a few of the guys didn't want to come to TU that Militia would be taking all his guys back. I was disappointed along with TU, but it was not our decision to make. I sent Militia a msg asking what happened and he replied, later that day or the next we talked on chat. He informed me of some of the things that was going on. Myself and TU accepted that we where not gonna merge and moved on. Militia then sends me msg stating that merge is NOT dead. So, once again I got excited. Then I get chat invite from one of my leaders in TU, so I join. Once in there was one of my leader and a couple of SM_MHQ guys in there. The same few that where against joining TU to begin with. It was explained to me that SM_MHQ would join under one condition (that militia was not a leader). Now I didn't agree to this right away. I wanted to talk to others first along with militia. My one condition with SM_MHQ I had was that by bringing some many people over from another clan, someone from there had to be a leader. So, the guys that joined TU felt they where being represented. After talking to some of my guys I then felt I needed to talk to Militia about this. When I got in chat with Militia, Militia himself infromed me that some of the guys didn't want him being a leader in TU.......He then told me he didnt have issue with that, He just wanted his whole clan kept together. I told him he was making this easy for me. We then talked about a suitable leader from SM_MHQ. He had told me that before everything got messed up within SM_MHQ that Camaro was his second in command. But Now Ciecero was now his second. I told Militia I would still like his opinion within the clan, even though he wasn't going to be a leader (right now). After merger was done I tried getting to know some of the former SM_MHQ guys. Not all would add me or would even come in chat. That didnt bother me. Out of the two guys I talked to Milita about being leader I made my decision. I choose Camaro to lead cod3. 1) he was on a lot more (nojin was moving) 2) My plans where to have Nojin Possibly be one of the leaders for COD4. COD3 is in last stages. At the point i told camaro milita left chat. SnakeStrike was only other person present. shortly after that milita quit. gave me some other name and everything. Then a few days after that he decided he wanted to start sm_mhq back up. Now I Was getting agitated. (basically stop jerking my chain). At this point i started getting msgs from some of the former SM guys saying they where leaving to go back to SM. Nojins was differnt. Had alot of thought in it. he stated he was leaving because of all the BS and he was not gonna be in TU or SM, but was going to try out for 1TF1. I informed as many of the former SM_MHQ guys they could leave with no hard feelings if they wished or they could remain in TU. I know some of the guys where getting agitated with being told they where TU, then SM_MHQ then TU and back to SM.....I would to. The only decision I had made was to make Camaro a leader with SnakeNdaGrass for cod3. Later I find out that I was so called a liar and i didnt hold up my end of the bargin.

As I see it I am overall leader of TU. I do not Lead anyone game. (Not anymore) As TU grows so does the games we play. I am not a dictator. I have 2 leaders per game. It will remain to stay that way. The leaders make the decisions based on that game. I am here for the clan. I make decision that I feel are best for the clan, but not before I talk to the other leaders.

Militia I am sorry you feel the way you do towards me. I thought it was worked out before hand. As for the issues between You, Camaro, and Boom. Well, that's who they where between. It was also something that happened b4 you guys ever joined. As for the one person that still has bad blood with me plz step up and talk with me. I have everyone on my list that sent me friend invites or have sent invites to ones who asked me 2. IDK what your talking about.

I am a 36 year man whose word is my bond. I don't have time for BS. I respect each and every member in TU. I may not have time to be buddy buddy all the time but i do respect them. I try to set an example beings some of these guys are still young. I enjoy having fun. I cuss, swear, drink, smoke, look at porn and even use gods name in vane. I am not perfect, but I will not let you (Milita) drag my name through the mud. Everyone of your guys could have gone back. no contracts to keep them. The ones that stayed chose to stay. Not because of me, but because of TU.

to those involved:
it wasn't my intention with this post to stir things up like this. but there was a story here that, it seemed to me, needed to be told. we all had our own point of views looking at the situation... but one thing that i just wanted to clarify is that merges do not seem to work...

a fact which we all should have realized from the get go. too many minds to appease and no amount of negotiation would have solved some of these problems...

i'm sorry that this thread brought out some bad blood, but in a way i'm not. i would like to see that this shizz get settled. and both of your teams can move on with little to no love lost...

I don't apologize for what I said about what happened after I joined once settling the bullshit with Camaro and Boom. It was someone's negligence that caused me to leave again. Say what you want, but that friend request was sitting there for a week and I was told you had no plans on accepting it or putting me on the leaderboard.

Merges don't work. But I'm not pissed at the guys who stayed. From my knowledge most of us are still friends or at least just talking to each other.

This is the last I'm writing on this matter. It's done and over. Anything else that needs to be said or done will be done so in a private manner.
