I started this thread to try bringeth peace to the battlefields of cod4, now gods children are fighting within it! oh father please guide them to your kingdom, give them a sign so they may join hands once more and fight as one versus evil..... i wept.

Everything has always been. Everything cannot have a creator because that creates a paradox. Who created God? Saying he has no creator is the same as saying the universe had no creator, except less logical because his existence is not proven.

If we are made in God's image, then that would me God has organs and cells etc. That means hes MADE OF something. Another hamster wheel in the scripture.

How do you know something has to be a creator to create something ? if you get what im trying to say.... maybe the human mind is 'premature' in its understanding of the world and has not even gotten close to it.

If we are made in god's image that dosent mean he has cells and organs etc. he could of had a different image to what he would like....

You just said you have to wonder how Earth was created. And I said if God created it then something HAD TO CREATE GOD. I basically said:Believing the Universe has always been is just as logical if not more logical than saying God created it. Time does not exist, there is only now. Time travel is impossible because of this. Its not hard to see the Universe as always being. The universe=existence. Existence has to have always been because existence must exist. Existence cannot NOT exist. That once again creates a huge paradox. Easier just to think of it as always been than to think of a God.

yh i did say how the earth was created... i did not mean by any soul/being or in-fact a god. Believing in the universe and that it has always been there isnt true. Its a fact the universe Started life 12-15 billion years ago. before that. Matter and Dark matter. if you believe that. Or. There was a God. Who created the universe . i believe both.

the point was, he should not be predi... * if he cant back up that claim. isnt it better to believe in something than nothing ?

No one really knows. My own personal theory is that the universe goes through cycles. Evidence shows one day there may be a Big Crunch. The universe may constantly Explode & Implode on itself once it reaches critical mass. Though one must question though where laws of physics came from though. Part 2 of my personal opinion is if there is a God, all of the religions have gotten it wrong. All the books make God sound ****ed up. Also, I'm sure a God(perfect) would be an It and not a He. Male Ego FTL.

same here. i believe the galaxies are all moving in towards a supercluster of galaxies, somewhere are around the vergo super clusters. and yes there most likely will be a ' big crunch'.

i also believe in god. becuase i just do. something great had to create life and he/she would be that person.

and God has a high chance of being a woman. men are screwed if thats true. lol.
