Ok gang, I have not played the game yet. But, I just returned from the Gamestop and I am holding the case as of right now. The online play supports microphones! I'm so thankful for this feature. Now when playing S.K.A.T.E. against somebody, they can call out their trick before they do it ( just like playing pool ). The non-online supports 1 to 4 players, as well as the online play. There is a Spectator Mode called Skate TV, where you can watch other people's skating ( which is cool 'cause you might learn something new and you can watch me [shouka tv]). That's all for now.

Ok, I'm going to make this quick and simple. Not because a lot of you don't enjoy reading long essays but, I've got to play more of this bad ass game.

Skate.

the goods

• everything you played in the demo, only more. way more. almost too much more. almost.
• microphone support.
• editing your replay videos or your photos, and saving/uploading them to the Skate.TV
• the online modes are actually fun.
• fun to customize your skater with all the things to choose from.
• graphics, sounds and details are amazing.
• challenging game play results in self rewarding game play.
• session marking.
• knocking a pedestrian over and then kick flipping over them before they get up is indeed fun to do and fun to laugh at. and yes they actually pick themselves back up rather than disappearing or reappearing on their feet.
• weird soundtrack (which is a good thing [might find a new band you like, i'm glad that The Briefs' "Poor and Weird" is there]).
• authentic famous skate spots from around the world as seen in skate videos, contests, magazines and pictures.

the bads

• sundancekid and i noticed that some levels lag and some levels don't lag.
• occasional laggy mics depending on the host or level.
• extensive connection lag results in booting, but you can quickly rejoin the room.
• a lot of the prearranged spots for the best trick mode are lame/ridiculously frustrating.
• grinding by default on anything surface ending gets frustrating (this is where i miss my tony hawk triangle-button grinding).
• a lot of my favorite tricks are missing (ollie north, benihanna, darkslide).
• editing replays could have more features (but i'm not complaining).
• having two push buttons still doesn't make sense to me (yes some kids push with their front foot, even though they SHOULDN'T because that's Mongo Foot and that'll get you made fun of for how retarded it looks [you push with your back foot, unless you're riding switch stance then that's all right, i guess]).

everything in the parenthesis don't pay attention to. everything else would be agreed by many.

i think some people like x and some people like square. it depends on the person. i hold down square its easier to flip the stick when my finga is on square. i will have skate in 3 hours. no work today!!!

I know what you mean, I have had countless times where my guy either stalls or grinds something when I want him to just ollie over it.

This is a lot different than the demo, I realize that I am having difficulty getting my flip tricks out because of all these hills to bomb and new spots.

I wish they would fix the 'choppy' skaters, I was trying to ollie over a friend who was doing "a coffin" and had trouble deciding when jump.

And having two or three other people in a bowl is very difficult, you don't have much time to get out of their way.

Yeah, I've been playing mostly on my Captain_Planet name due to the fact that I have my career saved on it. So ENFORCERS and friends, you may want to delete and replace.

Shouka, you can copy all the saved files on Captain_Planet to SK_Shouka by just pressing Triangle when you're on that file and choosing copy. From there you can choose what account to copy to
