Its a USB card. What you do is pop it in your pc and plug your output cable from your PS3 into the card. Its hella hard to actually play doing that though because it has a tiny tiny screen so that's why all that footage was playback of replays. It captures sound too, but I lowered the sound level and added the soundtrack. It doens't have to capture sound if you don't want it to though. The software from mine gives you a ton of options for video edits.
They are pretty sweet though. Some can be really pricey but I picked this one up for like 150 bucks at Best Buy. Made by Pinnacle.
