I just called my local Gamestop, it seems the game will not be in stores until tomorrow. The game is shipping today.

I need to know:

• If it's any good?
• What depth of online content has it got?
• Would it be suitable for online events and Tournaments?

We will certainly be supporting Rainbow 6 on this forum so that might be an option for you, dennis.
Also, Call of Duty 3, even with its rubbish servers is proving to be a big hit. Probably because Resistance is so arcade-like and COD3 is more 'realistic'. You may want to consider that game though you'd have some catching up to do.

This game has been getting really bad reviews just to let all you guys know. Online doesn't support voice chat and there are tons of glitches and bugs in the single player. Along with the bugs the lighting isn't too good (spotlight just gives out light in the middle of the screen, no shadows behind couch etc).

I played this to death on PC last year and as a single player experience it was a really realy good game.

The multiplayer was just way to franetic for me (I prefer things like BF2 on pc for multi player - I dont even like RFOM multiplayer as there appears to be few tactics or depth of gameplay involved).

Anyways, ASDA is selling it now at around £40.00 which is a tenner cheaper than other shops I think?

My rating is based on the PC version for playablity (not shadows from the flashlight .. duh!)

Single player 7/10 compared to Half Life 2 (9/10)
Multi player 5/10 compared to RFOM 5/10

I wont be getting it cos i got it for the PC version and there is nothing new in it (much)

In short ... its a lazy port .. dont care how hard they say PS3 is to program for .. they should do it right!

I've heard plenty about this game, it is pure garbage with the exception of a decent single-player. Online has no mic support, no in game clan function, horrible ways to get a game started, mediocre graphics, ect. I'm disappointed.

Well, I agree with most Fallen has said... however, this game is a good break from only being able to play RFOM online for the last several months.

I actually like the online play, dispite not being able to use a mic. The graphics are medicore. This game does take more skill to shoot than RFOM. Playing FEAR kind of reminds me of playing CounterStrike.

Players with real quick reflexes and headshot skills are best in FEAR. It's much harder to hit your target. I like it this way. It's just too bad the game lacks in so many ways.
