what do you think

from the latest mw2 event some members are coming up with ideas to stop random people joinin the event without signing up for it, the idea that has been brought to me is that members create another account just for mw2 events and just have the members who have signed up for it on there friends list , just wonderd what any of you thought of the idea

good idea but i play under my name i myself and mostly everyone else don't have that problem just some,why not just add comment on your PSN ID like we do works for me and others but what do i know,thats just my opinion but i wouldn't create another name just to play in a event if people cant tell their friends they in a tourney and not to join for a few minutes then thats there fault not mine,would be great if you could close the room like on WaW by invite only but unluckly we cant and infinity got that screwed up..but i dont c y it so hard for others to ask there friends nicely not to join never had this problem until a few people friends acting stupid when we asked them to leave,but if it came down to making a new name just for a event i wouldn't play at all.

yer i think your rite ax i dont think i would bother rankin up 2 accounts when 1s a mission anuff, evry member i had on my friends list put like (dont join ) and stuff so i dont c y evry1 didnt put it, i think the rules shud be put in stone and be alot clearer ( no affence 2 danny he does a great job) its just i didnt think the rules needed 2 put up in highlights because people cant just simply use there brain, but the next 1 i cant wait 4, if it all becomes clear 2 evry1 there shud b no problems and 1 of the best events we will play

set the match to invite only, then invite everyone.

well just 2 make sure i checked and well no you cant, if im wrong please feel free 2 tell me how and if its possible 2 make private games private

i wouldnt want to create another account just to play in a event. simply just ask the annoying people to leave. if they dont leave we dont play. OR whose ever friends are joining they dont play so there friends dont join. even though thats "mean" there are no other options

I think this is an excellent idea (I would, it was mine lol). The reasons are this;

1/ You would only use the account for PS3M Live Events.
2/ Everyone (who joined in the next few weeks) would be on even terms, NO BOOSTERS!
3/By only using this account for PS3M Live Events you would prevent players friends from joining (assuming you only use the account for Live Events).


The only downside I can see is taking the initial 5 minutes to create an account to use only for PS3M Live Events.

Flagstealer, how on earth do you think we could implement your idea??? Have someone spectating all game just looking at who's in the game then telling everyone to stop shooting if an unregistered player enters the game???? Get real dude.

it was a bad move in mw2 for no invite only rooms in a very much clan played game... how they done that i dont know.

i understand ur plan but i just dont see it happening. and for mine i think u understood wrong. i did a bad job at explaining but what i meant was dont invite the person on the event list that is bringing in other people that are OFF the event list.
