This series over rated & has flaws they havent fixed since GTA3 but for sure it'll own.

Started playing these as a little tyke. Sure it warped me, but it is all in good fun I might pick this one up; depends on what else comes out around the same time.

NO WAY!!! GTA is not over rated. Theres is not one game out that comes close to GTA. Developers have tried but no one comes close to making a game with much freedom, graphics, fun gameplay, great storyline and just the straight RIGHT to blast who the fvck you want. Not to mention its freakn funny (likes the ads, radio and other stuff).
I have always wanted a game that lets you do wat you want and GTA brings that to the table.

I think the game Crackdown came extremely close to this concept, but it was cooler because you could pick up cars and throw em' at peeps

Crackdown? LoL That game was horrible... The only reason that game actually sold was because it had the Halo 3 Beta with it. Thats smart marketing, they made a horrible game "Most Sold Game Of The Month" just for a damn beta.
I have all of them and like them all (GTA 3 best) and the only thing that turns me off is that everything you do is a little mini-game (if it involves the storyling) the voice acting and characters are funny and everything, of course the free roam, shoot everyone shit is awesome, but that's the only turn off for me, i'll still buy it but just to roam.
How is random violence and shooting and drugs and crashing into old people just like you did in GTA3 NOT over rated. San Andreas won GOTY and it had so many flaws. Its definately fun but people give it 10s and GOTY and shit when other games own in. They don't have the same concept, yeah, but they're much better than GTA.
Online in GTA will rock though. I heard Saints Row online was fun.
