I love it, but you would get like 20% of the COD 4 players to play it because of....

5.Realistic weapon range & damage. A shotgun should be limited to point blank range. A sniper rifle should be one hit kill if you hit the chest. A .50 Cal should kill you wherever it hits & there should be gore(you can turn on or off). All guns should shoot through walls. No unfair perks. A SMG should also have crappy range.

of that ^. 98% of COD 4 players just whore P90s, MP5's, or AK-74's when they play against someone even remotely decent. Why? Cuz 3 taps on the R1 button = kill at medium to long range. *the ACOG scope should also be fixed in this game*

Oh, and why limit a shotty to point play range? SHotty's arent long range by any means, but the range of shotty's is always so underrated in all games (but RFOM). Seriously, they can shoot more than 10 ft.

It was cool when I got it the visuals were amazing,
(untill I played motorstorm!!)

I've gotten killed in one hit by a shotgun from about 30 ft before. Thats what I'm talking about. Atleast weaken the velocity at long range alot. Within 10 ft.=Instant kill. 10-20 ft.=2 hits to kill. And as fun as the game would be I really wouldn't care how many CoD4 players would play it. Anyone in their right mind would buy the game.

Same on most of the games...

The damage system was ridiculous on R6V and is on CoD4!

Like you saud earlier the 50 cal should kill in one hit.
Not jolt there movement so they can carry on running.

Yeah, I love it. I WAS PLAYING HARDCORE S AND D WITH A 50 CAL W/ STOPPING POWER. I shot this guy right in the back to win the game but it didn't kill him. We lost because of that. I did not make that up.

Sometimes its crazy...

Like I was playing HARDCORE S&D and I shhot my team mate with a silence pistol in the knee and kill him!?!

If I had have done that to an enamy nothing would have happened...

most of what u said is needed. a game needs to be like killzone 2 but graphics touched with a slight dreamworks help and dedicated servers maxium online is 60v60 is my ideal . the lighting has to be done to perfection everything in the enviroments should be destructionable (if thats a word) feel like your the player with the six axis a cover mode states that are updated ever 5 mins a bunch of rewards to do of and online and ranks. plus prehaps one of the most important, mic support. and some others along the way.

As I said the rate technology is evolving I think in the next 10 years severs will be able to hold this ammount...

My "hope" is that lag will be abolished with the next fast speed internet.

unless they make the speed reduced on consoles (what i mean there is that someone with comcast and someone with tiscali the comcast conecction gets decreased to the tiscali speed) then you'll always have lag

- Nice ideas. I'd love to see this happen.
- Don't think a game like this would be made this current-gen.
- The closest you're gonna get to this is Resistance 2. (huge maps and 30v30)
- This idea sounds a bit like an MMOFPS, rather than a standard FPS.

Perfect ONLINE FPS?


I'd like to play on some maps that were interactive, large-scaled, complex, and locations new or unpopular to gaming. Maybe some new wars from unexplored periods in time. As long as they're made right, it doesn't matter what sort of technology is on the battlefield.

Imagine a game where you are a Hun or a Chinese martial art master, your battling for the Great Wall of China. Riding on horseback or running by foot, shooting arrows, chucking explosives, maybe cut-away sword fights where when you and an opponent agree to duel during the match you go 1v1 to the death (think of clan leaders during clan battles!).

Or an online pyrate-based game where your clan is actually your crew, and you have to learn real strategies, along with team work and trust to keep you ship sailing during battles. And not all battles will be only by ships. You can choose maps where you fight against British soldiers in villages, towns, cities, whatever. Customizing your character's appearance, your character's weapons, fighting style, character's personal information, etc.

I just would like to see depth in Online FPS. The way COD4 hooks you with its ranking up and unlocks, is great. But, I know we're capable of greater things. Mine might seem far-fetched but, if I could direct them being created I wouldn't miss a thing.

I think it woul'd be pretty cool that, you know when you get shot..and the screen goes red to indicate you are hurt.. if your like 1 shot away from being killed instantly, your character would obtain a limp.. and from then have it untill you do get killed.. and from this you will leave a trail of blood.

Your enemies can spot out your trial of blood and follow it to find the dieing soldier and finish you off. Of course once you do get killed the blood trail will disolve to avoid the floor turning red in a matter of minutes!

Maybe this could overwrite Last Stand or something lol.

Also, have a series of buttons that when pressed simualtaneously, you could dive infront of a team mate like you see in the films to take the bullet lol. Pretty funny watching people dive everywhere...I'd call anyone a MAN though if they did it...
