How MANY games will you get at launch ?
Or maybe it should be how many games will you be able to afford at launch! :? :(
I hope to get 2 or 3 games. Definately COD3, MGS4 and possibly Gran Turismo.
I will have to put a few on my xmas wish list but I may only get one...
Virtua Fighter, SEGA Rally and Fatal Inertia are next on my list.
Unfortunayely, it looks like I'll have to sell the PS2 and some of the unwante games to help pay for all this.

Well, I'm crossing my fingers that one game will be bundled in by the retailer.
I will struggle to buy the console in the first place.

The 'bundle' thing is probably important for most buyers.
Therewill probably be half a dozen competitors in your local Mall/High Street trying to sell the consoles.
If they are allowed to they will surely chuck in some goodies to make them stand out from their rivals. :?
Like with previous consoles I have bought, I will probably wait until January and the chaos has died down. That is likely to be when the best retail bundles/deals come out.
Personally, I would rather spend more money at the start if I can get 3 good games for a great all-in price.
oh, and an extra controller.....

It actually looks like there will be a lot of games to choose from.
Many are going to go with the usual suspects..
I will wait a bit and see what the reviews come out like as the games are soooo expensive.
I will probably just get one game and continue playing my favorite PS2 games. I then intend to sell the PS2 and many of the games to fund the ps3.

If I can persuade a couple of mates to get the system then it means we can share the games.
Also, I hope we will be able to rent some titles down at the local Blockbuster video store.
Other than that, I believe the machine will p lay all regional versions. If so, then its off to Ebay we go for some cheap HK imports!

It looks like there may only be a handful of titles available at launch, outside of Japan anyway. More may be announced but games like MGS4 are not expected until well into 2007 ! :(
As the games are so expensive I cant see many people getting more than one or two games and then holding out for a 'top' game at a later date
Hopefully, there will at least a couple of good games brought out in time for Christmas.

Yeah. Sorry to say some of the most anticpated games will not be available at the launch and maybe not even this year! :(
Call of Duty 3 and MGS4 are slated for next year. The latter may not be realeased until Spring !
I believe there will only be 15 - 25 games available at the time of the launch.
Of course, all your PS2 games can be played on it os its not too shabby.

yeah, it looks like, come the November launch, that only a couple of handfuls of games will be available.
Of those, I would certianly consider Ridge Racer 7 and Warhawk, the futuristc flyer...
Maybe put the Formula 1: Championship Edition on my christmas list! :)

Yippee, it turns out that there will a LOT more games being released than I previously thought..
Whats more.. There are some MUST HAVE titles in there.
If you have loads of money then great but if youre on a budget it will be difficult to decide on what games to get with your console.
The problem is nobody has really tested the games and given them a rating so we really do not know what to expect! :?

I've seen some talk of bundles being offered in the UK.
In fact, I am sure I have seen the PS3 plus 3 games advertised at £599 which is a lot of money ($1000). IIRC there was only one killer game with it. Cant remember where I saw it now but I quickly dismissed it.
Thats the problem with bundles, finding a good combination....

Yeah, whats the point of bundle when 2 out 3 games are rubbish...
They often stick in one TOP game byt dilute it with 2 games they just cant get rid of....
'Console + Any one game' is probably the best bet.

Its not as if the stores have got to come up with a cost saving offer as, unfortunately, the consoles are practically walking out of the stores...
I suspect the best bundle offers or free game with the console offers wont come about until well into 2007, if ever!
I envisage a huge demand for PS3 consoles lasting until next summer...
