your definition of camping??

well i am interested to see what your definition of campings is because we just player OFP on ambush and we we winning by about 20 kills then we get papz (leader of OFP) coming on to our team accusing us of camping well our men were fighting around the middle with there men.ukscottuk woz on the building killing us with his m16 then a 1 of our dudes went on th opposite building and killed a couple i was running round like a mad man wiv my ak74 (killing no1) i just wanted to know to u think we were camping when ukscott spent most of his time on the roof


OFP i dont want to start a argument plz keep it civil and plz correct me if i'm wrong but i think we won that round fair and square

Camping is sitting in a certain corner or alley waiting for an enemy to come down it. Think Ambush and sitting in the middle with ur sights set waiting for the opposition.

camping isnt allowed? i havent seen it in any of the rules..

my definition of camping is just sat still in a corner waiting for someone to pass by

or sat in a corner of the map, waiting..being VERY defensive = camping

another example is if someones sat down camping a doorway, and anyone who comes within 5m of it gets mowed down..

...holding a building and firing from the windows and doorways isnt camping

but it can be turned in to camping if they do not shoot out the windows, but just sit at doorways and wait for you to try to get in

But at the end of the day

camping isnt against the rules, so yeah..its just a shitty way to play, and its no fun for either side

camping is staying in an area or position that is overly advantageous to you and prevents any enemy from killing you. basically if ur in a house with one door and u stand next to it with a shotgun its camping. however if u stay in a position where u can be flanked and killed easily then it is not camping.

Well, My def of camping is 4 a team 2 voluntarily stay in 1/4 of a map, I did not believe u camped, I also believe its not fair 2 accuse somebody of camping bcause U cant ever tell if a person was waiting on 1 spot an entire time or if he just saw u coming & strategically found a spot 2 shoot u from (even if it is a corner) & aside that, ppl staying still weather u consider it camping or not, is still a part of the game, & if ur not willing 2 exept that, u shouldn't b doin GBs, u shouldn't even play video games 4 that matter.

This has been argued so many times.

You have to remember that if you have a the following perks you can camp and never be caught.

Bandolier, UAV jammer, Dead silence Plus Silenced weapons.

That is a tactical choice BUT is it camping. In reality the SAS and Navy Seals will use such tactics ( Not with a UAV jammer ) to gain a tactical advantage to elimate threats.

Unless stipulated in the battle thread then there is no cause to argue.

My opinion of camping is staying in one spot like a doorway, putting C4 around it and waiting for an enemy to come in. Or hiding behind a wall or in corner for a duration of the match.
All you have to do is lob a grenade into wherever their hiding, Problem solved.

Also I was joking, and who cares, I camp on S&D sometimes, Its a good way of getting kills and points,
The more kills the more fun..

But I usually snipe, so I HAVE to stay a bit back..

If this has already been said, great. I'm not reading every single person's opinion on camping. But, if you want to break it down to basics..

Waiting is camping.


"So what degree of waiting do you consider camping?"

I do not see it being considered "camping" if you happen to have found one good spot to kill a mass majority of the other team when they could attempt to flank you at any moment of their desire. If you're holding them off in one place because they're too stupid to go around, that's all good, go ahead and return to that spot after each spawn.

However, squatting in a far corner, where the only entrance is in front of you and you're not at all in any action, just waiting for some unlucky soldier to walk passed you, that is camping.

WTF why u talkin shit 4? i said 2 u and will no RG's no RPG's no campin the team who breaks tho's rule forfeit the round anc u and will said ok. it no my folt if u cant get it in 2 yr thick heads. i went on yr team wen u were only winnin by 2kills. i told yr team 2 stop campin or u forfeit the round every1 said ok. then yr guy kept goin on the roof. he was there most of the match so dont talk shit like u did'nt camp. i left it up 2 admin 2 c wat he says. but dont come on here 2 make my team look like assholes
