I mean sony come on are u just ****ing around in your expensive homes. stop ****ing around and step up. no wonder why Wii was sold out 4 5months. 5MONTHS Sony and u cant even get resistance to sell past 7mill. tut.

Not really. This means that they'll make money off of the 360 too, as well as Bluray Movie sales doubling. With all this extra money, they probably won't charge that much for stuff in HOME, they might be able to make price cuts, and they'll gain control of the next-gen market.
Well looking at the positive side, Sony is going to be making a lot of money for doing this but also, this means that 360 users are going to have to buy ANOTHER 360 just to have a Blu-ray player and it will also be about $200 more expensive...
Now if I was a 360 fan I'd feel like Microsoft is screwing me over by making me buy more and more stuff (not to mention the shitty hardware), when I could of bought a PS3 and had it all .
BTW if you read that article and not just copy and pasted Abe you would see that it's not just Sony that owns Blu-ray but also 8 more companies.

Yeah I don't think they will be able to do anything besides blu-ray movies cause if they start making blu-ray games then everyone will be forced to buy the add-on and I don't see that happening...so not a big deal for Sony on the gaming side and like Roach said they will make money from microsoft.
