question about map pack COD4

ok i have a big question for the map pack.

went u play in cod4 the map that u get is at random right. so my question is.
went the ppl that doesnt buy the map pack and the ppl that buy the map pack how they going to play together. other server?
other example:
if 1 of your friends buy the maps and put a private party whit one of the new map and he invite u, and u dont have the maps. whats going to happen???
are u going to join the party? or is going to give an error

ive been wondering the same thing.. just give us all the new maps for free... problem solved.

i think u have to have the maps to play wit other peeps who have em

thats actaully a good question.

it will prolly give an error message or something

but to find a game there will be a whole search game type for the "only new maps"

i think that you will get dropped each time the new maps load.i have the 360 aswell and thats what happened on there untill i got the maps

Yeah, on the 360 at first you could choose 'variety map pack' under "find a game" and then play a random game type on a new map

But that was only for a couple of days, now the maps are in rotation on most game types.

If the map pops us, all the players who dont have the maps are booted from the game, whether its right before or just before im not sure, becuase it could get voted off, but thats how it works.

If you try to invite someone to a private party who hasnt got the map packs, you wont be able to connect.

(You can play normally, but as soon as u go on the new maps, they wont be aloud to play) i think..

Everyone who doesn't have the maps will get kicked from the game.

Kick you from the party and say, '' Error, you do not have this map pack. you can download.....''. You get the point.

Okay, so most likely people will be booted from the room if the new map pops up. What about clan battles? GB randomly generates maps. Will these maps be put into circulation for clan battles? Will "clanned" players be expected to purchase these maps? What if the clan can't field enough guys with the map pack? Just throwing it all out there...

Then you are pretty screwed with a WAR then.

GB doesn't support add on maps that aren't free
therefore the map pack will not be used on GB!

the maps come out of the end of the month when gta comes out. there 4,99 and xbox get them free cause of there 40 po8nds a year they pay. buy a suppose everyone will be playin gts

Dont think so, they made like 2 temporary game modes, probably called somethin like "Variety Map pack Deathmatch" and "Variety Map pack Objective" (I think im right here)

So the people that downloaded the Map packs could actually play them straight away instead of waiting for rotation

Then after several days, they took the two game modes out, and put the maps in normal rotation with each game type.

If you go on PS3>CoD4 and press find game or whatever it says, where it gives you the list of game modes i.e. search and destroy, there are 2-3 empty places at the bottom, which i assume were the "Variety Map pack" gamemodes are going to be put
