If you want a game thats going to have the same feel as GRID then get DIRT. Same developers and to me Codemasters makes the best racing games out. Dirt was awesome and is going to give you the most realistic feel out of any of these games. Car damage is a big part of this game. You can't take shortcuts, you have to actually stay on the road and race. Each car has its own feel and it has great graphics.
Burnout is also good, it looks good graphically, I just prefer more of a real feel in racing games.
MX vs ATV was a joke this time around. I have always like this series but I feel like they really failed at there attempt on next gen this time.
Sega Rally Revo is a game I would play if I go to Dave & Busters but thats about it. No car damage but something that I do like about this game is the fact that the track keeps its damage. Each lap you race the tracks get worse from the cars sliding everywhere so one lap you may have to change your route a little compared to the next.
I would go with DIRT. Single player lasts for a long time, but it does lack in multiplayer. It has multiplayer but its only a leaderboard. The multiplayer racing is like Rally stage racing so its you racing everyone else's clock. I think you can talk to the other players but I forget.

Same here about the GT series. I was just putting it out there. I've always wanted somebody to make a good dirt track racing game for once. I'd even settle with a next-generation Destruction Derby 3..

Destruction Derby 3 would be sweet. I always like playing the bowl in the previous Destruction Derbys. I always tried to drive backwards to limit my damage.
