vision gt 2 graphics engines?
i noticed when i read the preview in the games link for vision gt that the online and offline version will have different engines will there be any major graphical differances?

No difference. The hardware will be different but still have the Cell processor technology but the software will be the same, just hosted online.
The quality will be excellent in both cases as Gran Turismo is one of the few games genuinely made for the HD technology and the main 1080p full monty graphics. It is likely to look mesmorizing on a normal TV but breathtaking on its full HD setting on a HD-Television.
Its definately on my list of 'must have' games.
I only have a small 28inch HD TV but eventually I would like a larger one whihc is better for local multiplayer use....

yeah, its only your TV which will make the difference.
Still, it will look great whatever it is on. Superb game.

This is absolutely gonna be a top, top game for the PS3.
Its going to be a massive seller and I will definately preorder it.
Reading the game's details it seems to have more depth and longevity than most other games. It seems the publishers have many plans for the game and it will continue to grow and evolve, especially online.
