M.A.G.-What You Think?

Hey guys i just got MAG today and was wondering who else has it and what they thought of it?I myself think it's a ok game but being a hardcore MW2 fan and of a fan of all the Call Of Duty's i just don't seem to get into MAG like i do on MW2,But overall i think it's better than what i thought it would be the lag is nowhere near as bad as i thought it would be haven't seen any at all really,some of the people on there don't wanna work together like you should to complete objectives but it's fun,i think if i had a good group of players to play with it would be more fun,and half the people i've seen on there don't even have mics but ohwell,overall i think it's a new fun game to play after 9 to 10 hours of playing MW2 it's something to switch over to for a change..Well let me know what you guys think,later.

I haven´t bought it but I played the Open Beta and the IGN tournament and I think it is great, I like it more than MW2.
Big, epic battles, and I love it that you can be the leader and tell people what to do; also every game affects the "Shadow War"

I got it, and its all about team work! If you think your going to run around and dominate by yourself your wrong! But I give it an 8 out 10!

I got the Beta and I thinks it pretty kool but the gameplay/controls just cant compare to MW2... If MW2 had that many ppl in one game (and no care package glithcers) then it would be the best game ever

i'm still learning everything about the gane but what games modes are the best for leveling up and exactly what is the shadow of war?--if anyone wants to play iy just ADD me and message MAG in friend request so i know who u are..Thanks for everyones opinion..

now i have it and its awesome! its a lot harder to aim/shoot/ which makes for more skilled people ( like me..lol jk ) to get kills. im valor BTW!!!!

and whats the "shadow war" mex? 1 more question how many levels are there?

MAG is set in 2025 when the world’s nations are supposedly at peace, but under the surface a war rages. This “Shadow War” is the secret conflict fought between Private Military Corporations (PMCs) vying for dominance across a global battlefield. As the private military industry starts to flourish, it is dominated mainly by three companies: Valor based in Alaska, Raven headquartered in Vienna, and S.V.E.R. based out of Grozny. It is with selecting an allegiance to one of these three PMCs that the player enters the world of MAG.
MAG’s PMCs are distinct in their own history, personality, and style, including unique soundtracks, user interfaces, character aesthetics, and geographical regions – each PMC has its own “home base” map for each gametype within MAG and is effectively camouflaged within that area. Players choose a character in one of the PMCs and begin to fight for that PMC’s control of the Shadow War. Each battle victory or loss contributes to the PMC’s world standing by gaining or losing contracts, and moving them to the offensive or pulling them back to the defensive. When a PMC earns a contract, a variety of in-game rewards ranging from experience bonuses to upgraded gear, weapons, and vehicles are bestowed upon all players of that particular PMC."

It's a decent shooter, really. About all that can be said. As most of you have noticed, there will be medics running around not healing anyone. People dumping their points into repair.. when there isn't a thing in the game that you need to repair. It's.. scattered.

Overview of the big three:

Valor:
Hard to level, never really doing all that great in the other gametypes.

Raven:
Easiest to level, their "deathmatch" is small, close quarters and enables games where you can get 20+ revives easy.

S.V.E.R:
Really large deathmatch map, great for sniping. Really dominates most the gametypes.. most the time. More solo than teamwork it feels like.

So, imho, Raven is the way to go. It is very easy to get a level a game up until about... level 8 in suppression just because of the tightness and ease of reviving your team-mates.

Great Game! You actually need skill to play it as it is a lot harder to get kills and win games than Mw2. There is a range of game modes as well which is good! :)

and this game rocks, when i get pissed at mw2 i just put this in and i love the strategy involved (fav game mode= sabotage)
