A new Sonic in 2006/2007
Amazing to think that the little hedgehog that was at the start of this gaming revolution is 15 years old !
I wonder how they can move the game on with a version for the PS3.
Sure, it will be graohically rich but it will still end up being a case of moveing him and his friends along to the finish collecting the rings.
Will he stand up against the likes of MGS4 and the other heavyweights ?
Or will it find an early showing in the bragin bin second hand games section in the stores ? :(

 Reminds me of when I was a kid.
It is a basic game but its simplicity and the way you can just pick it up and easily play it makes it particularly perfect for youngsters. they do represent a large portion of the players.
Saying that, its great fun and though I wouldnt necessarily go out and buy it, I would certainly play it. :wink: |

I think that the previous success of the sonic franchise will make it pretty successful this time around again. It definitely has the potential to be a big hit, with its wide age appeal. I don't think it will be a flop, mediocre at worst.
There will probably be a fairly big marketing campaign for it too, which will help.

For sure it will make it sell well. I've always been a big fan of Sonic, so t hat's is one of the reasons I'm buying Next Generation Sonic.

Sounds cool :P What is the name of the game? Is it only going to be on the PS3? Or will it be on the Wii, and other platforms?

It will have to be at least as good as the latest Mario which looks and plays brilliantly, even on the DS.
