It has been revealed that the long awaited Time Attack mode will not be with us today. There is said to be a bug which may result in players being unable to establish a network connection. (I had great trouble myself trying to communicate with the server @ 0100hrs this morning)!
Felice Standifer, Sr. US Producer for MotorStorm has posted the following on Sony's new PlayStation.Blog - "I understand everyone is rarin' to go with the MotorStorm updates and believe me, we are too. But right before we were planning to go live with the 1.2 updates with Time Attack mode, a new issue was found on the patch that could result in people not being able to establish a network connection.So, unfortunately, for now we need to continue to run tests and monitor the fix to ensure that it does not occur when the patch goes live. I play Motorstorm religiously and *love* the new Time Attack mode, and I think you will too. Of course, it's in the best interest for everyone that we resolve this before we release the update."
Well Felice we all play the game religiously and we would all love to try the new time attack mode but we can't, bloody sort it out man get some balls and fire the people that make you look like an idiot! Over three weeks we have been waiting for this promised update and you can't even let us download a couple of new vehicles to make up for your cock-ups. Can you give us an idea of when it will be available, no of course you cant you thick $*&£.

Me too, the boost tapping doesn't work. The actual download is only 100kb big. It downloaded in seconds for me and the time trial is excellent. I love the way you can download other ppls ghosts off the leader board. BE WARNED I downloaded it and it stopped my MS from working. You have to start motor storm first and download the 1.2 update and then download and install the time trial via playstation store. I DL the time trial first and MS wouldn't start at all. I had to delete the the 1.1 update and then MS would start, enabling me to DL the 1.2 update. Serves me right, I should read before I install, lol.
