Silent Hill, for sure. It was scary playing the game but it wasn't as scary as the movie. I think on the PS3, the games will be scarier because they look more real.

Resident Evil.I liked the game and the movie they were both pretty good I hope that they come out with some more of each.

I must agree with Resident Evil. One of my favorite movie games ever, after that I have to go with James Bond.

Yes, I would say that Resident Evil is definitely the best ever. One of the all time greatest games in my opinion. And I can't really think of any other games that are based on movies. Oh, the X-Men games are awesome :P But they don't really go along with the movies much.

Resident Evil was;t a game based on a movie.
It was a movie based on a game !!! :P
It looks like this might become commonplace in the future as media worlds collide.
Halo is a great candidate for a film as it is such a great sci-fi storyline.
One day film and video games will become one...
You will go to a cineman and actually be IN the film....  |

Good point, well spotted! 
As the power of consoles increases and the depth of a game increases I agree that they will make excellent films. There are some superb and creative minds in the gaming industry. |

A Halo film would be superb although the storyline would need beefing up a bit. There is a shortage of good sci-fi space shoot'em ups.
I liked Lego Star Wars personally.  |

There is HALO film coming out !
I enjoyed Shrek on my Xbox, was a great family game that 4 of us could play easily.

Yay, Shrek is great fun, true, as is Lego Star Wars.
The Bonds didnt really do it for me. I felt they were far inferior to the likes of Halo, Splinter Cell and Rainbow 6, for example.
Another good question, is what games would we like to see being made from exiting films!? I will open up a new thread.

Actually, might as well answer that here...
Star Trek !!!! Visiting different worlds and solving local problems!
How good will that be. I wonder why nobody has thought of doing it.
On a different note, how about the Sound of Music !!
Connect a microphone, and join in the singing as the game progresses, tring to teach the kids and then escape from the Nazi hunters.. ha. |

I would say Matrix, because its my favourite film, but the game could be better.
