PS3 games online tournaments and events with regular competitions and Leaderboards - Activision Proving something at Thanksgiving

Activision have confirmed today that they will be releasing a playable demo of TH Proving Ground for Thanksgiving (those in the EU that don't know it's the 4th Thurs of November).

This is a double edged sword with this one. If it appears on the PSN and we find it's rubbish, a lot of people were disapointed with Project 8 remember, they aren't going to sell any copies. At the same time it might be the best skate game we've ever seen.

Is it worth the risk by Activision? I don't think so, just look at Heavenly Sword (Heavenly Bored in my case) and the grief they got with their demo. But if it is a rubbish demo at least it will save me £40.00!!!

Oh yeah, it might only be available on the US PSN so get your US accounts up and running.

I'm pretty sure I heard they'll be a Skate demo too. I may be wrong

The Skate demo has only been confirmed for MSDoorStop360 on Aug 15th. There is no news from the EA camp of a demo coming to the PSN

Trust me I will let you all know if there is, I'm keener than anyone to get my hands on this!
