I just started screwing around online because i figured I'd just play the single player... since GTA is the best single player game series ever... But i jumpted online one time....

I find it hard NOT TO get back online. IDK how you can say it's terrible... Its hella tight. Maybe since you only played a lil bit your just skrubby as ****?

Honestly this is your decision, but to those who are thinking of buying this game I would not listen to everything Corrupted is saying.

The story mode (like every Grand Theft Auto) is time consuming. It takes longer to finish GTA IV's story than Call of Duty 4's and plus you have a choice to choose whether you want to kill this guy or another guy, so the story is never the same the second time around.

Online is just like single player except you have people from your friends list you can play with now. There's what, sixteen different modes to choose from so you have many options. And in Free Mode you can just cruise around the ENTIRE city with your friends (that includes in the air and water too).

Corrupted may be having issues online, but that does not mean everyone can not play. The first day I was having issues trying to sign in but now I have no problem hopping in a room with a couple of my buddies. Sure it lags sometimes, only when the room is close to sixteen people, but that is the same scenario with every other online game. Besides, the game has been out for nearly a week, the developers can still be making changes to improve online.

Honestly in my opinion, this is the game of year. There are so many options you have in GTA IV I don't see myself playing any other game for a while. It is the first game since I bought my PS3 back in December 06' that is worth sixty dollars.

Yeah, i don't miss the hole where my 65 bucks used to be for this game. It's just like every other GTA, just to a much higher degree of quality. I loved GTAIII and it was personally my favorite of all time, but my wish was that they made some options (such as dating, eating, activities, online) into liberty city from grand theft auto III. This was exactly what I wanted. Of course excessive playing will get you bored, i do become tired myself. So I take a break, then I have an urge for destruction later. beautiful game, awesome, and gunplay really went up. This was my dream, and the cheat codes, holy shit i could sit for hours with those cheats and just get chased around blowing shit up, with all the health and weapons ever. ur jus gay. haha jk...well idk.

I am still getting the game. Just I will be playing more Call Of Duty 4 once I get it back.

Still I think GTA: San Andreas, "Broke the mold" for all games of this genre.
