For rougly $60-70 you can buy a PS3 Blu-Ray Optical Laser. You can do this if you want/need a quick fix. Its a very simple installation procedure...

So practically its the same thing thats in the PS3, I hope they dont end up messed up when I play GTA again  |

kool man! very valuable information, will be worth it, i guess! but i wont be the one who will open my ps3 and install a new blu ray reader! im not thet good.

Well actually all you have to do is:
1. Obviously open PS3.
2. Unhook the Blu-Ray Drive
3. Open the Drives Chasis (Same as any DVD Drive Dissembely)
4. Take off the top layer to reveal laser. (Pic of Regular DVD-R/W Drive)
5. Unscrew the small screws on each corner of the laser & carefully disconnect the small data ribbon.
Now just do the reverse to put all back to geather... DONE! :D
