Just thought I'd say hi to all, and hope all are doing well....
I've not got a PS3 yet, was in two minds whether to get a 360 or PS3, think I'm gonna go for the PS3 now!!!!! not sure what decent online games are available for it tho!!! any suggestions?

hello cutey. well i recommend COD3 to the MAX. cant beat it, but then again COD4 comes out very soon. but even so, id buy COD3 and COD4 as their totally different.

just watched a vid clip of COD 4 - looks pretty good, I'll be buying that when it finally gets its arse on the shelves.... As I'll be getting the PS3 next week, was wondering what 2 games to get now? Nothing out for the PS3 that's comparable to Gears of War or Halo 3 on the 360?

lol - man just get down to the shops asap and get COD3, ur missing out big time next month apparently theres about 4 shoot em up games that should be brilliant. dont spend all ur money at the moment, wait for November when the big boys come to the shelves

i recomend ps3....the 360 came out with alot of errors...and halo3 sucks so who cares about that...but cod4 and medal of honor are coming those will kick halo's ass...so GET PS3!!

welll halo 3 is just like halo 2...it isnt bad..but there is alot of cheats on halo 3..and there is a hella alot of cheaters all over the 360.....now take a look at ps3..no one has cheat devices on it.....so...its your choice...

hahahahaha..... first I've heard of that one.

Either way, I own both and would recommend that if someone can only get one, I'd get a 360 without a doubt. Tons more games and I've yet to have a 360 game (out of the 27 I've owned) that didn't work the way it was supposed to. I have yet to play a PS3 game with a completely functional voice chat in a game.

The quality in games is present in 360 and completely non-existant in PS3 games to date. It has nothing to do with how long the system has been out either because 360 has been that way since launch. As for the bugs with 360's they've pretty much been eliminated as I can tell (I initially went through 11 xbox 360's).

I can see the reason behind getting the 360! also, you can get games like Gears of War for £15, that's not bad considering how good the game is.. Just not sure about the lifespan of the 360! a year, maybe 2 tops, by then I can see the PS3 going from strength to strength, that said, I could be wrong (moi! wrong, never) PS3 is only £299 now, that's not bad.. I've got £400 for the console n' a game n' accessories (can you get a headset for the PS3, I'm told ya can't)??

Really, I didn't want to sound like a PS3 basher, but the quality of gameplay really is completely dominated by 360 at the moment. Not that it won't change, but sadly, that's where it is now.

Both are great, but with so many more options of games and better in game options, the 360 would be what I'd buy if I could only get one.

Hmmmm, you do make a good argument for the 360 - I'm just wondering about long term!!! I guess I could get a 360 now, and then a PS3 in a year or so's time!!!! Although, I have stuck with Sony from day 1 (Psone, PS2, PSP and HDTV by Sony)

I'm not a supporter of either really. I still buy games for both of them and play both alot. Both have strong and weak points. For example, I have my original 2 PS2 controllers, and my original 2 360 controllers and they all work fine. I've gone through 3 PS3 controllers and need a new one again. Stuff like that.

You can chat and everything at any time (in a game or out) on 360, but only with one person which is strange, but then again, you can't take a private chat anywhere on PS3....give and take I suppose.

I have a PC for chatting and downloading hot women sucking on lollipops ;o) I mainly want the console for pure gaming, and the faster the better. Up to now, Gears of War looks best to me, but Killzone will be out soon (sometime in the next 20 years by the looks of things) and that looks awesome, but will it run fast and how well will it play online???? hmmmm!!
