Just upload a killzone2 gameplay video to the www.ps3videos.com site.
Its not new footage but it might be an eye opener for those who havent seen the game.
It looks like yet another clone of Halo/Resistance but i guess that is harsh as Humans vs Aliens is here to stay.
However, this looks like it moves the game forward with better destruction of the surroundings and the rumor is that it has the best graphics for a FPS game so far made.
A must buy, I think, though with a handful of similar games out in the next few months it might mean a lot of people will be waiting to see what the main reviews come in like before making decisions.
I'll get the lot myself and make up my own mind...
well very unrealistic fire and explosions. textures are pretty bland and nothing that really impresses you. the AI looks unresponive and takes no effort to implement strategy whatsoever. the level design is uninteresting and unattractive and looks like many many games before it. i'll be curious if this turns out to be a good game but i sense another sony ace in the hole that ultimately fails at delivering what ps3 owners so desperatly need.

it looks bad because that's horrific video quality, i've seen it in it's best resolution in HD and the character models are smooth and realistic, it's detail is so great it'll be around 2.5gb EACH level, thanks to blu-ray that's possible. That's a terrible video to show what kz2 is all about.

im sure it looks better with better video quality but the level design is still just like what we've seen in games b4 it. the lighting effects are alright but the fire is very unrealistic. compare a car blowing up in cod4 to the explosion in the beginning and u will see the difference. im really hoping this will be good but i've learned not to trust sony. this game does have a chance to be good but from what i've seen in the video it looks like another mediocre game.

true, the first one was mediocre, and sequels are never better than the first, in anything! unless a rare occasion in a movie...anyway, i think everything seems so poor because of the mad rush to satisfy sony fanboys, in their need for killzone 2 updates. You know you can't think that's even close to the final release, but an idea of the physics and amount of pixels, in even just one of the faces in the soldiers. i saw the amount of pixels in one of the faces of the men in killzone 2, is the amount of pixels of a whole soldier in some other game or something, anyway, what i'm getting at here, is they're REALLY trying to hard to nail a game with mind blowing graphics and realistic soldiers, which is definately what they're going to do...as for the gameplay, they say as well as it looks good it'll play just as good right? wrong, it'll be a decent game at most, but will look VERY sharp, and the soldier's expressions and animations will be very realistic. you are right bout the gameplay though.
best lighting in a game period. You might be surprised to learn that there's absolutley no bump mapping. The game creates depth with it's lighting effects, very nice.
Man this is a game to ****ing buy, don't give me shit about it. Yeah it is a bad video, the ones i've seen make me wanna sell cod4 to get this. Which no doubt i will. ****ing owns.
