I need help seriously guys!!

okay so i got a PS3 today and i cant sign to netwoek i did everything manualy and it says that IP is ok but network says some kind of DNS error i think 80710102 or somethink like that and i wanna play cod4 online ...help me

your ISP (internet service provider) might just be havin problems..

or try somethin like this..

turn your modem off and on. unplug all wires and plug em back in securely, thats all i can think off

I GET THAT ERROR ALL THE TIME I JUST TURN MY MODEM OFF WAIT ABOUT A MINUTE TURN IT BACK ON LIKE SAINT SAID AND IT CONNECTS FOR ME HOPE THIS HELPS YOU

You might have a WEP encryption you forgot to put in.

If its a DNS errror it probably wont be anythin to do with the WEP key, just that a plug is not in properly or the ISP is havin problems with your area

u have to pull out ur hetic tielcis plug in ur modem.LOL JK JK. theres no such thing

all u got to do is wait a day or a couple hours and hope it goes away

Nah when i got my wep key changed I forgot to change my internet settings on ps3 and got that DNS error. I also got it when trying to customize my own ip for the ps3, it's best to set that to automatic instead.

Since this is the first time he's trying to log on the playstation network, just waiting won't solve the problem.

Probably just need to turn ur modem and stuff off, what i always do. And once or twice i have just left it for 5-6 hours and it signs in. Just gotta try everything, slap it a few times that might work, what i do.
