PS3 Mic?

Hey, I dont have any type of USB mic or Bluetooth headset but i do have a Microsoft webcam with a built-in Mic and i was wondering if it was possible to use the mic for online games etc.

i think you need a blue tooth or a usb mic

or even a ps3 eye but microsoft.. i doubt it

I heard 1 person got an xbox webcam working on ps3 but i doubt it, o if it dont wrk, use usb mic/webcam or bluetooth

it does if the system recognises the camera it can be used, i did this thing where i plugged my webcam in and went to audio device settings and one of the inputs was usb webcam or something and i was like wtf? so i turned it on and the noise bars were going when i talked and stuf, so yeah if ps3 can recognise it it will work

hey i plugged my shitty logitech webcam in and it picked up the mic on it and works fine..

all you need is a cheep mic anyway. i got 2 the same, from different sellers for £20 in total. i have just been into town and seen the same as what i have for £60 brand new. That means i have £120 worth of headsets for £20 ... hahahaha .... i owned that shop ....

Ebay is the way forward.

As far as i know that the Built in Mic of the Web cam will also work for the ps3 and for the online games. I am hoping so, but didi you try that.
