bluetooth help!!!!!!!plzzz

ok so i have this motorola bluetooth and ill go to the settings for it and i can here myself talk but then wen i go onto cod4 i cant talk(and theres no mic sign) then ill go out and back to the settings for bluetooth and now i cannot connect and its been like this since like 5 months

now my question is- is the usb headset were do u plug it in like the controller cuz thats the kind i want and is it easy to use

I have both a Motorola Bluetooth and a USB headset and the USB is so much easier to use. Like you said with the bluetooth you always have to reconnect it when you sign on/off and what I had to do was turn it off then turn it on again right before I got into a game. Now with the USB headset all you need to do is plug it in, go to the settings and make sure the input & output are set to your USB headset. Then you can hop in a game without having to worry about if your headset is connected our not. You can pick up a really good USB one for about 30 bucks, id go with Logitech.

yeh i want a usb but do u plug it into the controller or usb outlet on the ps3 like the ps2

oh god. first bluetooth is vile you should know that from the lag it causes and the occasionall shut down of your controller. second usb dont plug it in to the controller.
you put it in one of the 4 usb sockes in the ps3 or 2 if you have 40gb. so you can charge your controller at the same time in a different socket while be online with a usb headset in a usb port. simple. logitech do good usb headsets in the states. try to find a stereo usb headset with the mic on it there better. if your from uk go on argos site and look up usb skype. i got that not a single probz scince purchase

i dont think u can get that one for the ps3. what would your rather have a normal usb or a crappy control turning of bluetooth ? just get a normal one because when u need to charge your control u have 2 take the usb headset out of the controller which mean no voice chat. THINK REALLY HARD ABOUR YOUR CHOICE. REALLY HARD

i got a usb headset for 30 dollars. works great i had bluetooth and it was a pain in the ass, heres the one i got. u should definitely buy it

There's no USB port on the controllers. You plug it right to the front of the ps3 where you plug your controllers in. The cord that comes is usually about 5 feet or so but if you sit far away from your TV I suggest picking up a extension cord as well.

if you still need help with the bluetooth one, make sure that you have the headset as the system default for input.. maybe that will help

I'd rather have to wait 5 seconds to turn off a Bluetooth mic that works for a very long time than spend 30 bucks on a mic that last 3 months max. Every USB headset I have had I have taken care of but somehow every time there gets a short or it just suddenly gets a really bad feedback.

Sometimes my Bluetooth is on but doesn't connect but I just have to unconnect then reconnect it.

my usb has a 10 foot cord. its very long. i have no problem with it

I have a motorola h700 bluetooth headset and once I paired it with my PS3, it always connnects. I don't have to reconnect ever. I turn my PS3 on, put COD4 in, and open the boom on my headset (the boom turns it on and off) and it works...I don't ever have to go into settings either...one thing I do recommend is if you do buy one make sure its from a store and not somewhere online where you can get it cheaper cause there are knock offs of the h700 floating around and they do suck. Plus with this headset you only have to charge it for a couple of hours a week...I only charge my headset every 3 or 4 days and I do a lot of gaming. If having a USB wire is what you want with your wireless PS3...then go for it.
