broke controller!

i've dropped it, smashed it, taken it apart a few times...all this and it lasted me a month away from a year. It still works fine, as long as you dont need SIXAXIS motion control lol. suggest a new one? or is there really no reason just yet???

I had my PS2 controllers for years with no problems. I seem to be going through one of the PS3 ones every few months. Its the thumb pads that break for me. if you push up to walk move forward eventually the pad just stays in that direction. It makes it really hard to stand still and aim down the sight. Unless of course you brace yourself against a tree!

They just seem flimsy compared to the duel shock...

mine really have not broken even once. my right analog stick started to drift but i got new 1 for free. so really never had to pay for a new one

I chucked mine against my wall.
And the piece between the R1 and R2 fell off and now its really hard to shoot in CoD4.

Haha yeah.
There is like 2 or 3 dents in my wall.
I broke them and then kept chucking.
I have another couch next to the one I sit on, so I have now decided to chuck it at that instead of the wall. It's been working nicely.

That's because the left stick gets more use than the right one due to the way game controls are set. eg steering for driving etc! Just get a damp cloth and wipe round it, soon sorts it out!
