Glitching\Cheating Or Not ???

When I am playing Resistance online and I am shooting the opponents in the Free For All mode, I am firing at them and they just disappear in front of me and re-appear at the side of me shooting my ass off :\

Is this meant to happen or are they cheating\glitching

I have also shot ppl and when they hit the ground they bounce about the floor popping up and down as they try to run away >> dieing then getting up then dieing then getting up again.

Surely this is not meant to happen.

I am baffled

I dont know about the second one...

but the first one sounds like LAG. A delay in the graphics processing.

Apparently, I heard it can be controlled and used as an advantage but I cant see how and nor should it be discussed on here really...

If I see any dodgey shenanigans then I will leave the game.
there are always plenty of clean games to join in and they are always more fun anyway.

It all depends on your internet connection. It could be yours or theirs. There's also extreme cases of using lag switches, which players really do cheat.
