The middle one looks superb, very classy.
I cant work out of its the silver one in the middle, or graphite and the silver one is on the right, or is that white!? 8O :?

I thought there were only ever 2 colors to choose from?

They had Black, white and Silver at the shows.

However, as with the PS2 and PSP it is likely to have limited color supply, especially at launch.

I believe the US will get black and only black, though you could perhaps expect other colors to be offered after time.

Japan and Europe will probably only be offered silver or white at launch.

YOu could always give your PS3 a custom paint job!

It wouldnt be too dificult. There are bound to be some super custom jobs in the future. The kind you see on the side of trucks and vans.

Looking ahead there will probably be some Special Edition PS3s in some cool colors.

Personally, I would like one in metallic dark blue or a deep metallic red!

I have a suspision that Europe wont even get the black version judging by the reports so far.

It may turn up a lot later.

The white is actually growing on me. Are they really going to produce it.
Numbers are limited and if there is weak supply why would they risk producing colors that will annoy the consumers even more. They might as well make them all in black if it helps them to make more!

I am confused, why does the Silver PS3 has the new, cool, incredible, wireless, banana look console, and the Black one has an ordinary one with a hole between the legs… . Is it because it’s black? That’s racism. :?

They are all essentually identical.
Well, the 60GB version has an extra line going through it to mark it out plus of course it will have some extra connections at the back.

If heard correctly then SONY are trying to force the 60GB version on us anyway.

They will be making 80% 60GB version to 20% standard. This means the 20GB will be even harder to get hold of.

For $100 difference who wants the infoerior machine anyway....

I read that all 20GB are black and 60Gb will either be Black or Silver and also regions might have a choice or no choice at all.....

They will probably offer more colours down the years to keep it fresh but they shouldnt need more than 5 overall.

I have to say, the 60GB black with the silver strip is beautiful.

I read on here that Europe will only get the 60GB version. I also suspect they will only get a Black console.

In fact, I expect SONY to only produce black 60GB consoles later this year.

Anyway, there is always re-skinning or modification... :)
