so on my controllers right analog stick when i move to the left (especially slowly) it makes this annoying sound. the best way i can describe it is as a squeaky sort of sound. my other controller which i got with the ps3 which was a year and 2 months ago still works perfectly. this controller (replacement controller) i got in around late summer (prolly around August)
this sound started a couple days ago. when i play cod 4 i dont notice it cuz the sounds are loud. but on r6v 2 guns arent always going off so it can get annoying and also the analog stick aint really as smooth. im not sure how to explain. but it has that "squeaky sound". any of you have a similar problem? suggestions to fix it?
yeh that happened to me.. i took the controller apart to clean the insides and analog stick but it didnt make a difference.. ended up just buying a new one
what i dont understand is its only about 6 months old while my other one is over a year and STILL works. they got to make these controllers better. i guess ill get used to it

I have 2 controllers. Both are shitty. But one of the analogs is really ****ed up, and I can't tell which one it is unless I start playing. But by then I'm too lazy to switch.

Here's the solution...at least this is what I do...Go to walmart and buy a new controller, then clean up your old controller a little bit and put it in the packaging for the controller you just bought. Take it back to walmart and tell them you want to return this cause the analog stick squeaks. You get a full refund plus a new controller for free.

Both my controllers are buggered. I only use one because the other ones left analog stick wont go upwards correctly. And with my other one right analoag is abit slow and X button is buggered (Y) lovely.
