How excited are we ??
After looking at that new MGS4 video ( here ) and seeing the various other videos and pictures, all the hype, the announcements...
I gotta say, I am SO excited at the prospect of geting my hands on this new box of magic tricks. :smt026

Its a way off still but the excitement is definately mounting! The cost of it is still a bit of burden but, as you say, seeing videos like that make me go all goose-pimpley. Bring it on!

I havent seen a PS3 advertisment on TV yet but it is surely just a matter of time?
Certainly things are building up and SONY's latest price cut has stirred the mix up a bit. Things aare getting hot ! :)

Well, I did notice Playstation 3 specific advertising on the boards at a recent Champions League soccer match.
Mind you , its a bit early for European advertising given that it is 5 months until Europe get it.... 8O

It is going to be absolute chaos in November, thats for sure!
I have no doubt that the system will sell out in all areas ta all launches and supply will struggle to meet demand even through 2007.

 Its heating up.....The problem now is what games to save up for! there are so many great titles. I think I will concentrate on the titles that are actually being made FOR the PS3 adnd its capabilities....

There is some decent good news coming out from the SONY people.
It seems the PS3 is more a PC than a console so browsing the internet is easy. Also, the way it interacts with the PSP over a wireless connection is fantastic. Add on the fact that you wil be able to download games either free or about $15 is handy along with music, etc. I believe people are sudsdenly realising that SONY has offered the public an extraordinary deal in the PS3.

Yep, ans as a bonus the online service is FREE.
Dont forget, XBox charge $50 a year for their online subscription. 8O As you say, suddenly the PS3 looks like a bargain!

You have to ask better in the shops…I asked one spazstick, he said no, I asked him again and doubled the price, he said of curse no problem, as you can see there are some PS3s laying around, the only thing you have to do is push your savings.
The difference between your country and ours that we don’t double the price we make them lower it.

Sure, nothing has been confirmed for me either.
I would really like to get it i November but so long as it comes before Xmas I wont be too mad about it. I am gong to need something to do over the xmas period!

Launched in Japan today!
Loads of queues , loads of heartache, loads of money. At the end of the day, news reports of the huge demand for the PS3 is not a bad thing. At least SONY can feel confident that they can sell EVERY console they make for the next year at least.....

Excited, yeah. there are some plus points.
However, the crappy launch game availability and lack of full HD game support so far is pretty disappointing. Sure , the future is bright but i am impatient. meanwhile, we have to wait for the REAL games to come out: Metal Gear Solid 4 and Gran Turismo 5.... Looks like they wont be ready until anything between 6 months to a year.. 8O :(

There are some shitty games but there also some excellent games out for the PS3....
The Xbox360 suffered with much worse games... 2007 is going to be a big year for the PS3. We should see some excellent games coming out... I will definately be getting excited then!
