Can't get HDMI cable to recognize /attempting to play NBA 07
I perchased the Philips PXT1000 HDMI cable today, plugged it up and can't get the system to accept the cable under Display Settings. I want to take advantage of the Full HD for NBA 07. Im not entirely sure why its doing this. Im only able to make use of the AV cable that came with it. Any help will be appreciated. :( I'll be glad to answer any questions for further help.

Snake, I believe he is saying that the system is not recognizing the cable, period.
There is definately a problem, for sure. It should pick it up immediately and set at the highest resolution whether that be 1080i or 1080p. As Snake said, run a couple of more tests and then you need to ascertain whether its the cable at fault or the console. Then you nake the required replacement. It must be frustrating for you. I guess all you want to do is get on it and start playing in full HD. It will be worth the wait, it really does make a visible difference. Come back and tell us about the game in a new thread when you've played it a bit as I dont believe anybody has ytalked about the game on the forum yet! |
