PS3 Video/Audio Problems
When I plugged my PS3 into the TV in my basement, it was black and white. I turned the TV on and off, and the color turned on for 10 seconds then went off. The TV occasionally blurs with some games so I tried it on my other TV...
It was in color, but there were lines going up the screen that would blur/fuzz whatever they passed. The screen would occasionally split into 2 halves, sometimes one on the bottom, one on the top, sometimes all of it on the top of the screen, the bottom half black... Any advice on what might be wrong? |

If another device such as VCR or DVD player works on the same inputs on the TV, you can rule it out.
I would then recycle the PS3; Shut it off, disconnect power, then hook it back up checking physical connections. If you can get a picture, go to the settings area, select default settings, then cross youyr fingers. |

Picture is working now, but the audio is still giving out the same buzzing sound. Maybe I missed a cord in the package? All I have connected is the controller, the 3 input/output cords and the power...Did I forget one or...?

The Red, yellow and white component cable does the picture and sound.
There is no other cable for you to worry about. They should connect simply and securely. Try jiggling it around a bit, gently, to see if there is a bit of play. |

I always jiggle with the downstairs TV, lol...So I decided to keep it upstairs.
The upstairs audio wont go through still, but it works perfectly in surround sound. I'll get over it, lol...Thanks for the help. |
