ps3 Chip Testing at last
Finally, PS3 began to test their new chips being used. This inevitably leads us closer to the relase in November. Good progress like this should hold off on more delays.
If i remember correctly, the PS3 is using a 5 core chip compared to the 360's dual core. I can't wait for the graphics.

It's good to hear about some positive progress on the ps3. Imagine how much trouble sony would be in if the testing fails the chips, causing another delay aha.
As for the 5 core chips, I am not sure if that is correct or not.

Yeah it has 5 cores from my sources
Called "The cell" and clocks at 4Ghz. 10x faster than current chips available
not bad ahah...now if only I could run my desktop on one.

Nice to hear some good news about what is going on with the PS3 all I have heard thus fas is the bad stuff I hope it comes out on time.
