Re: Ups and Downs of RB6

Overall i think its a great game! It will take a little getting used too but its presents lots of challenges and it gets very entertaining with some of the online modes.

yeah, ur right.. it has some decent online stuff going on. i thnk this game is for the older generation and not for the younger kids who like jumping around with death every few seconds.. we have cod3 for that fix!

No way are these even close to the same genre. One is Sci-Fi and one is Realistic. The only things they have in common are less than impressive graphics and you shoot a gun, or whatever those Resistance weapons are, at people or Chimera.

Every single other aspect of the two games are different. Its like comparing COD3 Campaign to Contra...lol

Figures you'd throw something in about Balls. But you're right, even though you know I hate agreeing with you. Mr Amazing, whose out grazing, while gazing at some rather large assBALLS.

Re: Ups and Downs of RB6

I think by genre he meant Massive Online Shooter. That's not really a genre but yea I think that's what he meant. Which I think resistance does. If you guys were 100% happy with COD3, you guys wouldn't even be thinking about R6V. While a large mass of COD3's population is going to R6V, there are pretty much the same amount of people on resistance as there is every day. For a launch game, Resistance really set the bar, while COD3 got confused and included the BAR in their game.

Mmmmmm apple pie. I think the game has it's good points as more people get it we will see bigger games on line. That should make online play quite interesting, except that no spawn thing that sucks.

Re: Ups and Downs of RB6

you mean no respawn at all, what happens you get killed and have to just lay there waiting for teammate to heal or just wait until game is over?

Re: Ups and Downs of RB6

I would of thought it's like socom 3, where they have rounds and you respawn every new round.

Am i right?

Yes, some of the online modes have no respawn so you must wait till everyone on a team is dead. But there are modes that have respawn. There are like a million different online game modes, still trying to figure it out.

Re: Ups and Downs of RB6

its up to the host to set it to respawns or not, you can also set it to a certain amount of respawns which is cool....when i play i love the no respawn cause it motivates you to work as a team more and not run and gun!!!(at the moment as i'm learning how to play and don't know the maps the no respawns sux..cause i keep dying!!lol...)only more motivation to not get killed!!!

also about the 1080i thing...i tried it and it sux...its all dark and blurry...i've never seen anything in 1080i or heard anything about it, isn't it supposed to be better????

i think the 1081i looks pretty good thats what i have been playing in. I think it looks a little crisper that 720p.
