first off the yankees WILL COME BACK. they have 4 great starting pitchers. the have an amazing lineup. and rivera saving games. this is going to be like the 1977 season. everyone counted them out. yankees only 11 games back. in 1977 yankees were down 10 games IN SEPTEMEBER. that year they won the WS.

also look at the year 2007. take out the 2 0s and u have 27.

also this is the 30th year anniversary for that 1977 team. i think this year is meant to be a WS for new york

Are you serious 4 great starting pitchers?! are you serious?! please they are all past their prime except for Wang. And their lineup? im sooo scared of Melky, Cano, and Andy phillips in their line up, very intimating right there. Please the Yanks are a Joke and it shows, there under 500 cause of their pitching and its not going to get any better soon, so I just sit back and laugh my ass off cause they are not making the post season this year, sorry the red soxs, tigers, angels, Indians, A's all have a better starting rotation than the Yanks, so winning the wild card, its not happening. Heck even the Blue Jays having a better shot because of Roy and AJ.

Guess pitch and location is for women. Play the game for real and turn that off. Games as close to reality are better. Is the pitcher going to tell you what pitch and where he's throwing it? Not a chance in Hell. Man up and play the game how it should be played. Have a good eye, pick your pitches, work the count, and jack a good one. That guess pitch is an awful feature. I'm pretty sure it takes the meaning of "noob" to a new level.

I play either way...doesn't matter to me...but if someone thinks a pitch is coming high and inside and they guess it (because I played baseball my whole life) then you are going to smash the ball even more than normal...just my opinion though. I also agree with you Herman because once you play the game for a while then it gets pretty easy to see the ball. Hit me up sometime Herman or I will just add you and we'll play some show hopefully traffic delay free depending on your connection.

Yeah Paulie. I don't think I've ever played a Show game online. I usually just play my brother or something, but I've seen him play. I hear him complain about the traffic delays and crap. Haha. I'm a hit or miss with that game. On good days, I can be very patient at the plate and work counts. On bad days, it's just the opposite. I swing at everything and I get very frustrated. Haha. But definitely, we could get a game going sometime. Hopefully get lucky with the garbage servers.

Thats the only real bad thing about this game, the traffic delay, it always seems like when I get a good game going bam traffic delay, or when I start a rally or my opponent starts one bam traffic delay, it drives me nuts and they have to fix this problem soon.

u got to be kiddin me. clemens on monday pitched 8 innings of 1 run 2 hit ball. wang was 2nd in cy young. pettite is a good pitcher along with mussina. and u should be scared of cano u retart. he finished 3rd in the batting race last year... and speaking of melky he has a gun in the outfield and he can hit. and u did not mention posada, jeter, a-rod, damon, abreu. what happened to them.

Wow clemens got his first win in like 3 starts?!?! he is the savor of the yanks. OH whats canos average this year? its not about last year its about now. And abreu what has he done this year?! not much for what is expected from him. Mussina whats his numbers this year? yeah past his prime. And I gave wang is props. Pettite is not the same pitcher as he was a few years ago. hello and whats there record again?! I think it shows that there pitching IS NOT AS GOOD as everyone thinks it is. and their bullpen besides rivera is a mess.
